History
Established in 2014.
When the Arcata Plaza was built in 1901, a number of grazing farm animals had to be «evicted» from the premises, including one Charles Richards’ goat, a goat so apparently infamous that he is the only farm animal named specifically in the historical records. We named our tavern after that goat. «Get off the Plaza» at Richards’ Goat, just a short walk down the street, at the corner of Samoa Blvd and I Street!
