Best pizza in town! But… almost always A frustrating and annoying experience. I always wait 20 minutes after they tell me a pizza will be ready to pick up and half of the time it’s still not ready. The employee incompetence can also be astounding! One time while in a hurry I dropped in for a quick slice, there were several people in front of me so when I got to the counter I ordered a slice and told the girl that I did not need it heated up because I was in a hurry, then to my astonishment The girl was incapable of simply grabbing a slice and handing it to me, I had to wait 10 minutes for the guy making the pizzas to get to my order to hand me a cold slice of pizza that was already made! My head nearly exploded!!! But the pizzas good

Of all the pizza by the slice options I’ve been to, Live is probably my favorite. Customer service isn’t great, but I don’t walk in expecting that because it’s a casual place. Nice to have the extra space in the new location!

The food is good at the Arcata location, but the service kind of stinks. The people that work there are a little smug and rude. Defiantly not a warm welcome to the restaurant. When we asked questions we were treated like we were dumb.

Been waiting for 40 minutes, and people who ordered 20 minutes after me were served first. When I went to ask they stayed it barely went in. I usually love this place but don’t think I’ll be back.

Pretty satisfying pizza, pretty greasy, and exactly what I needed that day. Love that they have pizzas with a pesto base tho! Very cheesy and tasty

Best pizza in Humboldt. And i’m from New York City so take my word for it. Its not totally ‘traditional’ new york pizza just in terms of toppings. But the crust and sauce and cheese is spot on. Of course you can get pizza with whatever toppings you want, but their pre-made ones are more creative. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re into pizza, which you probably are.

I placed a order for 4meats pizza, large meatball and pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks with extra marinara at 6:45 on a Monday I got it at 8:30 and was told only would be a hour wait then the large pizza didn’t have meatballs on it and was completely burnt black on the bottom and was missing the meatballs which were in a plastic bowl when I called back at 8:40 I was told they were done delivering and would give me credit I told them the situation and he said would call the delivery driver and call me back like 15−20min later I got a call back saying they would credit me 25 bucks and that they were closed for the night I asked if 25 would cover he costs of delivering the replacement pizza as I’m not trying to pay to have a burnt pizza replaced that’s when I was given a 26 dollar credit instead. Pretty bad service I was told they were busy but that seems like that would be a reason to pull my pizza out on time or early not late. I would highly recommend the Eureka location there pizza is always great

I love the location in Eureka, and the one in Arcata is great too, but I did order one pizza that I wasn’t crazy about… it was a Margherita pizza but the cheese was not delicious at all. Their salads are yummy and fresh, and their hot wings are good. I’m not a fan of a $ 5 dollar delivery charge, especially since I live less than quarter mile from there(I have an infant daughter and I can’t walk over when it’s rainy and it’s a hassle to load her into car). Other than that, the pizza is good! I love how they’re not doughy or too saucy.

I agree with BK, I don’t understand building a business and leaving to collage kids that just don’t give two

decent pizza, but BAD service during my last 2 visits. It was run way better before they moved to the new location. the staff seems disorganized and it’s 15 minutes for them to re-heat a slice. dont get me wrong, the pizza is tasty, but don’t go if your in even a slight hurry…

Live From New York Pizza just opened their new location in Arcata. Pretty darn good pizza. Huge slices and many different options. I wish the crust was thicker, but the huge slices make it all worth it.
