Arcata Photo Studios is Humboldt County’s all-service photography location. Centrally located in the Plaza’s Jacoby’s Storehouse, Arcata Photo Studios offers custom creative portraiture, wedding, event and commercial product and lifestyle photography. On location or in studio, APS is on it.

History

Established in 2008.

Started by photographers Sheldon Sabbatini and Terrence McNally, who met on location during Humboldt County shoots, the pair decided to increase the profile of both their businesses and set up a walk-in location /full-time studio on the Arcata Plaza.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
I will NEVER go to Arcata Photo ever again! The owner Terrence is a nice person but his conscientiousness is non-existent. I needed portraits of myself by a certain deadline for a job application and he never came through with them and the worst part is that he is such a pain in the ass to get a hold of. Almost never answers his phone and never replies to e-mails when I wanted to know where my photos were. I even went down to the studio several times, knocked on the door and no answer. Now I just want a refund because I have no use for the photos and he is taking forever to give me that. I should’ve waited for the photos to come to me and then paid instead of doing it in advance because I’m starting to think this is a shady business where they take your money and run because its been about two weeks now and still no photos or refund.
Very unacceptable, and I have no idea how this guy is still in business.
NEVER EVER GO TO ARCATA PHOTO FOR ANYTHING! This is not how you have repeat customers and this is definitely NOT how you run a business!
