Vons Grocery Delivery

We have used Vons Delivery Service for 2+ years and with the exception of some mixed up substitutions we have had solid service. Yesterday we had our order come and there were some major issues, we were missing half of what we asked for. We never check the list with the items and it was half our own fault because we just had the driver drop the bags inside the door.
When we noticed things were missing we made note of them and called the customer support. The representative took the information and contacted the driver who came back realizing he had overlooked a crate. When he returned an hour later he brought up the bags and we saw that there were still things missing. He was effusively apologetic and acknowledged that there was a failing on his part as well as the services. He told us to contact the support line again with the complaint and bid his apologies to us once more.
My husband called a second time and the response we got from Vons impressed him. They gave us the option for a refund or to deliver the items the following morning. It came right at the hour our delivery order was expected to and the delivery driver was patient and let us double check the order.
Although there was issues, the actions Vons took to correct it more than satisfied us. We would recommend them and will more than happily continue use their delivery.

I’m a single mom to a newborn, so I’m stuck at home for the time being. I’ve ordered from Vons 3 times now. I like them, and the site is pretty straight forward. Groceries weren’t damaged, and they came when they said they would. The delivery fees are next to nothing. Especially when you consider taking a baby with you, spending gas money, and carrying around groceries. I’d rather order from home. Let Von’s carry the groceries up my steps. Grocery shopping on-​line is a very good thing.
This is nothing against Vons. I really love on-​line grocery ordering. I just wish on-​line grocery shopping was available everywhere. My relatives live out of state and not all of them can get grocery delivery service.

I will admit… I was nervous after reading the below review but decided to roll the dice and give it a try anyway. Personally, I detest shopping for groceries and it seemingly takes forever these days. I wanted to cook at home, yet dreaded another trip to the grocery store. I decided to give Von’s a try, because they are part of Safeway and I used to shop at Dominick’s back home.
Fortunately my experience with the service was quite satisfactory. The first time you place an order, Von’s offers a code for free delivery. They arrived within the delivery window selected and all of the items I ordered were in stock. The groceries looked undamaged, as if I had placed them in the car myself. The delivery person was also friendly. They also deliver alcohol, which is a plus.
I don’t know if it is because I am a first time customer & that they wanted to make a good impression in order to solicit future business. I will give this service another try and see if they still meet that same level of service in future deliveries. For now, I don’t personally see a reason to not continue using them.

This place is the the worst place ever we scheduled a 10:00 to 12:00 delivery time space because I had to go some place so we call Von’s and ask for a re schedule from 7:00 To 9:00 pm when we show up at are house at 6:00 there is a sign that say sorry we missed you at 1:00 so we call Von’s about the re schedule and they say it is coming now it is 9:09 and the are closed I’m am shopping at Ralph’s from now on
