The Physical Edge

Leigh is amazing. She helped me with my whiplash and is clearly incredibly smart. Leigh is very athletic herself, so she’s familiar with all sorts of sports injuries too and knows exactly how to approach them. My only criticism is that they double-​book so I have to share her with another client, which means some waiting around. But I have Anthem Blue Cross, so it is extremely reasonable.

Love the trainers, physical therapists, aides and front desk staff! Check it out. This place is great.

I came here for physical therapy due to a leg injury and the trainers here fixed me right up! The therapists I worked with were three women, Roxy, Blair, and Lee. They are all wonderful smart women.
They gave me customized exercises to focus not just my leg injury but my lower back weakness that I have been dealing with for years as well. I’m so grateful because I feel so much stronger :)

I like going there but for some reason you go again after few days and you ask for the same person and the answer will be he or she left !!! It happened to me more then 4 times already and every time some body new work with me I have to explain every single thing even though they have my file but half of the session it turns into a consultation instead

I LOVE The Physical Edge! I have never felt better! I go 2 x a week scheduled and I try to go more on my own time.
The trainers are superb and very knowledgeAble and it has helped me feel much much better about myself and a better healthier lifestyle.
It’s a constant battle with food but because they pushed me and never gave up on me that I’m seeing better changes now. I mean with me it’s about diet.
So if you’re tired of sitting around and want a life… try The Physical Edge out. I’m serious. I love and actually look forward to going as much as I can. Feels good to sweat. It feels good to be sore the next day.
Now I ride my mountain bike 6.5 miles a day on the street because of the strengthening I’ve gotten at The Physical Edge. Love that too. The girls will work with you on the scheduling too. They are really nice and helpful too. So go sign up. If you really want it… you’ll be glad you did. Starting on my 5^th year as a member. They rock at The Physical Edge!

I am so grateful to my Sports Medicine Doctor for referring me to Mike! He is amazing and I am confident that I will be running again in no time. My Doctor sent me for physical therapy as a result of pain in my knees. I’ve only been for treatment a handful of times but after each visit I leave pain free, feeling stronger and with a better understanding of what I need to do to strengthen my legs and avoid injury. Kyle is also wonderful to work with and always encouraging. The facility itself is always clean, and the staff as a whole are very friendly. There is a nice atmosphere as well that just makes you feel motivated. Definitely check this place out!

I came here for about 3 – 4 months or so to rehabilitate my knee and ankle after having surgery on my knee. When I first got there, I was on crutches and could put no weight on my bad leg. I was paired with Tracy who was my main trainer. Later I also worked a lot with Alfonso «Fonzi». Both of these individuals are directly responsible for getting me closer to where I was before my surgery. They were supportive, encouraging, funny, pushy when I needed it, and overall, they helped me through a very hard time in my life. Shortly after working with them I was able to get back to driving and eventually back to work and life as somewhat normal.
The whole team there is great. I would always see young athletes training too. It’s not the biggest place, but it’s a place full of good people who are encouraging and who care.

This is one of the best places to have a personal trainer at. They really understand the art of working out! Everyone who works in there is motivated and highly trained for whatever task they take on at the gym. I just started working out there and i really enjoy it! I recommend this gym!

The Physical Edge is truly a positive place to get faster, get stronger, and get fixed up! Since being a member for over 2 years – and being a 6 year triathlete – I’ve become less prone to injury and have learned so much about my body and its capabilities. Since being a member, I’ve been able to complete a plethora of races to include a 6^th place finish in the Newport Triathlon and cutting 10 minutes in my Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon finish time compared to my previous attempt at the race. All the staff and members are fun, positive, exciting, and personable. They’ve been kind enough to give me observation hours for my physical therapy school applications, helped me with a courtesy physical therpay session when I was injured and unable to train, and I like giving the fun personal trainers a hard time. lol (j/​k) i’ve participated in many of their supporting of the community in the arcadia, duarte, and monrovia area. They’re support for other small businesses have helped my family to enjoy quaint and fun corners in the community. I can’t stop raving about this place. The Physical Edge is truly a safe place for ppl of all different fitness levels, age, and personal goals. I highly recommend The Physical Edge to all my friends and family.
