A go to place for a stylish haircut by Pro for all my family including my baby! Thanks Alan the professional! So kind and patient for my baby’s first haircut. The salon is huge with lots of lines of hair product. Highly recommended!

A coworker of mine referred me to Snips and recommended Alan. OMG he is amazing! It was my first time at Snips and he went over styles and ideas with me. I have my hair color brownish been too long. I want to do some changes. Alan is my hair stylist for over 10 years. He gave me brilliant changes for my hair color. The looks so amazing. I got a lot compliments. This High-​Performance hair color with balayage is gorgeous. I love it sooooo much. Thank you, Alan.

Sulema is the best hair stylist in the Pasadena area. She is an expert on heavy, thick hair and has cut mine and my daughter’s for 20 years. She’s hard to get an appointment with since she is so booked, but worth the wait.

Snips is under new ownership and the place has had many upgrades. New paint, fixtures, furniture and other great things. The interior is beautiful and calming. I still see Cheryl and think she is fabulous. We have experimented with a multitude of red shades and even blonde highlights. She is great.
Also to note, there is a wonderful esthetician now on location. She has her own room and is beyond fantastic. All products are from the Determlocia line and natural. She uses aromatherapy and massage while the masks set. I have rosacea and very sensitive skin. In a manner of two months, my skin’s redness and irritation has eased up substantially. They also do nails and waxing at this salon. A one stop place.

If you have red heair — go see Cheryl. She is great at managing the color and helping it last. The salon was recently remodeled and feels very trés chic.

The salon itself has a nice clean and luxurious environment from the moment you walk in. This was my first time coming here and I was not disappointed. My hair is relatively thick and hard to work with but as you can clearly tell from the picture, Alan did a phenomenal job in both styling and dying my hair. Would definitely come back for both casual cuts and formal needs.

I usually go to my other hair lady in Monrovia who I love dearly but she’s been on leave and had to find someone else to do my hair equally… so when I met Andrea and had her do my make up for my wedding and to do my hair today, I swear she’s absolutely amazing and sweet! Never a bad experience with her and she makes sure you’re happy! thanks!

Alan is very good at haircut as well as coloring. Love the new haircut and ombré. I am a very picky person, but Alan is able to deliver!

I’m following Alan everywhere he goes… He’s the best hairstylist I’ve ever known! I always wanted to have an ombré hair but I was to scared to bleach my hair. I trusted Alan on this one and yes YOLO haha. Boom! I have an ombré hair now! Got lots of compliment from people and Alan has a lot of new customers now. Never go wrong with Alan and I love his new place now!

I followed my stylist Alan here from another salon. Alan is amazing. I have long, course, heavy, Asian hair that always looks flat after a while when i am lazy to get it cut. But after i go to Alan, my hair always feels so light, has great volume and movement. I have tried many stylists from West LA, downtown, to San Gabriel Valley, and Alan is the best! I always get compliments from my friends on how much volume my hair has after my cuts. Extra bonus is Alan is very nice and looks like the Hong Kong super star Andy Lau. He is Taiwanese, but speaks Cantonese and Mandarin fluently. He speaks English too, but I haven’t tested him on fluency.
This salon is in a nice part of Arcadia on Foothill with free parking in the front and back of the salon. The salon is neat and clean and has a cool/​modern look. Most of the patrons appear to be Caucasian as well as the other stylist. The salon seems to be well established and doing well.
Shala the receptionist is so nice and sweet. She is a long-​time local and knows a ton about the area. She also gave me great advice on raising kids.
I checked in here on Unilocal,and I received a Wella Professional hair treatment gift which was surprisingly larger than sample size.

Service — Alan is my stylist and I’ve been coming to him for over 10 years now. In fact, my whole family goes to him. My mom and my brother have been customers for the past 10 years as well. His service and skill level is always top notch and never failing. What I really love about his work is that the style lasts for months after the cut! Doesn’t matter what style, bangs or no bangs, long or short, I’ve tried them all and always get compliments afterwards! He’s efficient with time and always up to date with the newest trends. *Tip: he’s fabulous with asian hair cuts!
Price — Very reasonably. I’ve tried cuts in the fancy beverly hills places that charge double their price and the others still cant compare. They accept credit cards or cash so don’t fret if you forgot cash at home.
Environment — Love it! It’s modern, hip, yet serene and comfortable. Theres wood elements and high ceilings that make for a high end feeling and enough space in between the stations to feel like breathable.
I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a great cut or dye to come here!

It’s a very relax and pampered place. I went in for a hair cut. Love the result came out. I feel totally refreshed and it made my day!
My hair stylist, Allen, who is also the new owner of the place, has very good skills. I have very fine hair. It’s a very challenge job to trim my hair. He did a great job to make my hair look fuller in the back.
I went in the salon with limp style, came out with a totally chic and polish cut. This is a recommended place!

Snips is great, cute clean and plenty of parking. But I come here for Andrea. I never want anyone else to cut my hair. EVER. She listens to what I want and has the unique ability to blend edgy and classic to create my perfect look. She isn’t satisfied with good enough, every time I leave I feel confidant and super hot.
Andrea is amazing!!! Ask for her!
