This is a small Phở shack that looks like it was once a large drive through locksmith or a one day photo kiosk when such things were possible. If so then the kiosk space was expanded on, but not by much. Or it may have been the smallest Carl’s)r. on the planet. However, for being so small it does offer a lot of dishes, including a cold cabinet filled with authentic Vietnamese side dishes. I like to come here mostly because it has a student discount with ID, and I am a middle aged man who has gone back to school and so has that ID. Even if the Phở is not great, it only costs me four bucks. You can’t beat that. And the Phở IS not great. It’s okay, with all of the side vegetables and herbs on a plate next to your bowl. But the broth is missing something, and all of the dishes I have tried here, wet or dry, have tasted almost the same, as if they have a basic template or a base, which they use for multiple dishes in order to save money: thus the student discount. If you want Phở and have $ 4 to spare… this is the place for you. Otherwise, there are half a dozen other Phở places within walking distance; and some of them are better.
