Lau Kune Do Kung Fu and Tai Chi is a school of southern style Kung Fu, Jiang style Baugua Zhang, Wu style Tai Chi and Chi Gong. The main foundation of the Kungfu is WING CHUN, And also a strong influence from HUNGAR.

History

Established in 1976.

Lau Kune Do was founded by master Hing Wo Tsim .He started his training in China as a young boy. He trained in the school of Hung Gar for many years until his family moved to a different part of China where he was given oportunity to train in the Leung Sheung school of Wing Chun. He also trained under a famous Bague Zhang master (Jiang Rong Chiao) where he learned eight diagram palms. Master Tsim migrated to the U.S.and started teaching in 1976 .Sifu Corbin Spencer Is the owner and Sifu of Lau Kune Do Monrovia Branch Temple .Sifu Corbin started training under Master Tsim in 1992 after being frustrated with the many styles he had previously trained. Under The strict Training of Traditional Gung Fu with Master Tsim, Corbin became an asistant instructor after six years, and continued on to become a of Deciple of L.K.D. In The past 18 plus years he trained under Master Tsim he learned many forms, sets, weapons, self deffense techniecs exet… and is happy to be passing on the art.
