History

Established in 1986.

Our company was established following Hurricane Gloria in September 1986 as the DBA Stumpbusters. Folling the owner’s (Kevin Carrick) retirement from the US Air Force in 2001, we incorporated as carrick’s Service Corp. and have recently expanded with the help of Kevin’s 2 sons Josh and Brian.

Kevin started the company on his own in 1986 as a part-​time business to supplement his income from the US Air Force, where he was an elite pararescueman. After servicing for more than 25 years, including several deployments to the middle east for Operations Northern and Southern Watch in the 1990’s, assisting with the TWA Flight 800 cleanup and serving at Ground Zero on September 11^th, Kevin retired in 2001 and incorporated his business full time. He is now joined by his 2 sons as the company continues to grown and expand each day.
