At Strive, our mission is to provide the San Francisco Bay Area with high quality assistive technology assessments for all clients, while making sure that the testing experience is comfortable and informative for children and their guardians. Often clients are looking to gain more detailed information regarding their child’s educational and intellectual functioning, often for educational planning purposes. An assistive technology assessment helps to determine what software, APPS, and devices would benefit your child most in order to experience success in the classroom.

History

Established in 2012.

So often school represents a daunting and difficult task not only for the student but also for the parent/​teachers. Assessments are not reserved for children with obvious disabilities or mental handicaps; every child has different strengths and weaknesses.

Jonathan is a certified assistive technology specialist serving the San Francisco Bay Area.

Business Owner

I value creating an extraordinary future for everyone by modeling compassion, healthy social interactions, and academic excellence. I have served as a resource specialist the past five years in the Santa Clara Unified School District. My previous experience in the San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District includes teaching high school resource one year, middle school special day class two years, and I spent my first year as an instructional assistant at the elementary school. I have a certificate in assistive technology and also have my Clear Multiple Subject Credential and a Level II Mild/​Moderate Credential. It is my goal to combine my range of testing experience with my ability to assist you in pinpointing the struggles, and identifying the strengths that your child may have in regards to their education. An assistive technology assessment will benefit your child in helping them find devices, software, and APPS that will help them find success in the classroom.
