I entered the Mountain View Wholefoods with the intention of getting a few items when I decided that my South African husband might like some dessert to go with the boerwoers we got at Dittmers. Needless to say I had absolutely no clue when I went to the freezer to get Chocolate Lava Cake (one of his favs) when I saw in the corner of my eye malva pudding … MALVA PUDDING??? In the USA!!! who hoo!
So we bought it, following the instructions baked in the oven and WOW! It was better than many I’ve even had over there when visiting in-​laws. So do yourself a favor and dig if you have to when you next go to any of the markets listed on their website it is SO worth it.
