Specialties
As a certified landscape designer and environmentalist, my designs always incorporate native and drought tolerant plants with an emphasis on water conservation. Gardens are not merely plantings. They are entire outdoor rooms. With the proper balance of negative and positive space, color and vegetation, your garden will please all your senses. As an artist, I consider your garden a canvas, incorporating all the elements of good composition.
Gardens are not just to look at. They are meant to be used and enjoyed. You might want an area for your kids, or for entertaining or simply for contemplation. A well designed garden can offer a multitude of uses that are not in conflict with each other. Each designated use becomes a new room, with a design that flows from one to the other. And the best part is that you need not see the whole garden when you first step in. It is much more fun if you see just parts of it at a time as you stroll through, with an added element of mystery.
History
Established in 2010.
As a retired criminal defense attorney I knew I wanted to learn about landscape design. I have always been an artist and avid gardener, so it was an obvious direction. I find this work creative, rewarding and I particularly enjoy working with my clients to create just what they want.
