Mojito’s Mexican Grill & Bar by Sangria’s

The food was good (not great) but service and atmosphere were majorly lacking. When we arrived the hostess greeted us, and then proceeded to answer the ringing phone and take a large to-​go order while we stood in front of her waiting. The atmosphere was very shady. There were two men sitting in a parked car right outside the restaurant. When we walked up they rolled down the window and yelled something in Spanish. They stayed there the whole time we are. When we left, one got out and took pictures of us on his phone. Inside, the bar area had the same creepy vibe. Lots of men who spoke to is under their breath when we passed and stared inappropriately. The restaurant area was a better atmosphere but had a bad smell. The margaritas were not good. They tasted terribly like cheap tequila and artificially flavored mix. It took about 20 minutes for someone to take our order, despite it being rather dead. Another 30 minutes to get our food, and even longer yet for someone to check on us after that. It was a different server coming to our table each time. The meal took over two hours. The food was good and the menu was varied. I can’t complain about the food, really, but I would not go back due to the terrible service and uncomfortable atmosphere.

My husband and I had a very GOOD first experience at Mojitos.
First of all– we love the atmosphere. We felt like we were in a restaurant tucked somewhere in Spain or Mexico. Our waiter was super friendly and did a great job! I got the more expensive chicmichanga the one with shrimp and steak and it was delish! We also got sangrias (buy one, get one) which was awesome! I was impress with their presentation especially with my chicken tortilla soup. I wished I requested for spice for my chimichanga, but that was entirely my fault, OVERALL– We Love it and will definitely be back!

Have to say, it is a beautiful place. Fountain, ambience, great. Mohito was ok. Service was poor. From seating to order was 30 minutes. Chips and salsa/​bean dip helped. I had a special order due to some issues I have. More than willing to substitute and I appreciated that. But the fajita lacked flavor. And I have never has to remove the tail myself off shrimp in a Fahita mix. Unfortunately didn’t pay attention to that when I filled my first tortilla. I was excited to try mohitos, but have now crossed it off my list as tried, probably won’t go back.

The food here is surprising good. The one flaw that I find with this place is that the service is not very good. I’m unsure if that is due to staffing issues or if the staff is simply inattentive. Either way, so long as you are in no particular hurry to get your drinks or food, you may be satisfied by the food quality to make the experience worth while. Once things are in good order, I’ll have no problem giving this place 5 stars.

Not very good food. The service was slow and not much taste to the food. They do have a big menu and reasonable prices but I wouldn’t go back. Their salsa was weird, it had corn in it? The dinner left much to be desired.

Huge and beautiful, also has a bar area, exquisite decorations, lovely fountain in the middle. One would think this is a very expensive place to eat but the prices are fabulous. Full bar and drinks for your pleasure with a great wine offering to boot!

Curtis is a most fantastic waiter/​bartender! He is very patient and takes his time with his customers. We will definitely be back!

Actually, 3 ½ stars. Table side guac allows you to add so many options-​bacon, jalapeños, corn, garlic, etc. Guac easily serves.4 people. Large (almost too large) burritos that are good although not outstanding. Teliqua veggies were a little limp and weak, but the refried beans were fine. If you remember the Mexican chain Chi-​Chi, this place might seem familiar. No complaints with the service

Great tableside guacamole and mahi mahi tacos. Service was just fine and friendly. Kids enjoyed dinner too.

While we love Sangrias, Mohitos was a disappointment, service was slow and the food was barely warm when it finally came out, we will probably never go back.

Limited lunch menu. Servings were generous, price was affordable and well worth it. Cozy ambiance with a fountain in the center.

Service a little slow, but not enough to ruin my experience. Say hello to Shirley one of the owners! The have great margaritas and the Salsa is excellent. I had the Pipian burrito it was awesome! Give them a try a little different selections than you get at Sangria’s but just as tasty. My family enjoyed our dinners and enjoyed the atmosphere. We will be back!

Dined here in the afternoon of Labor Day. Excellent service and excellent food, will definitely go back!
