History

Established in 1967.

Mark Dougherty is the second generation owner with his wife Lori and two sons Will and Riley. He took over the management in 1982 after graduating for collage at U W Oshkosh. We pride ourselves in using the freshest highest quality ingredients we can find. Mark’s dad was a butcher and he has continued the in house hand cutting of all the steaks.

Appleton native graduated H.S. in 1977 and went to U W Oshkosh graduating in 1982. Took over the restaurant then called Chef Bill’s at that time. Change the name to Mark’s East Side in 1987 after a major remodeling of the bar room. Currently married with two children.
