Great bagels, great breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and fair prices. Highly recommend.

We bought a dozen bagels and three containers of cream cheese for a family brunch Christmas morning, a mix of everything, plain, and a few others. First of all we found that one of the containers of cream cheese was underfilled (I’d estimate it had ¹⁄₃ less than the others), which wasn’t evident when we purchased it because of the label over the lid. Overlooking that, we dug in to the bag and discovered that all of the plain and everything bagels we got (8 in total) were incredibly doughy and very undercooked.
I do prefer a softer bagel, but these were far too soft and did not have any of the chewiness a good bagel should have. When we tried to cut them they all ended up mangled.
My wife is from a large Jewish family and grew up on the east coast, so she knows her way around a quality bagel. This being her first Christmas ever with my family, she wanted to prepare a brunch that included some bagels and lox, and was very disappointed by the quality of these bagels.
Needless to say, if we ever decide to get bagels during a visit to the fox valley again we will go some place other than Jersey bagels.
For what it’s worth the staff was very friendly.

What attracted me to this place was the name, being from Philly. The prices are great and the bagels and cream cheese are very tasty and fresh. It may have helped that I went at 630 in the morning. The lox and cream cheese is very yummy and Its hard to order anything else but I also enjoyed a cherry bagel with vanilla cream cheese.

Great bagels and variety but go early for best selection. My husband and I are frequent customers and love this little neighborhood shop. Also, there are usually buy on get on free coupons on Copps and Festival grocery receipts.

8:30am and they’re out of most bagels. Won’t be back. Hell, I’ll go to Kwik Trip.

Great bagels at a decent price. Jersey Bagels has a good selection. I usually end up buying more than I intend to because there are quite a few that I really like (Blueberry & SugarMon are my favorites). All the employees are super friendly and really helpful.
I haven’t had any of the sandwiches yet, but I definitely will be trying one soon.

My wife stumbled upon this place, and it is great! I feel the location might be hurting the success of this business though.
It’s a very relaxing atmosphere, quick ordering, and they offer more than just bagels and cream cheese. The wraps and breakfast sandwiches rock! Plus they use Boar’s Head Deli Meats. Great place for Sunday breakfast!
Seriously the best offering of bagels. Cheese Lovers with vegetable cream cheese is my personal favorite.

Jersey Bagels recently reopened in one of the old locations of former 7-​chain SueAnne’s Bagels. With the same recipies, all that has changed is the name. This place has the best bagels ever… check out the spinich quiche and hot tomazzo. Mmmmm. Now if only they had a store in California!
