Artisan Bistro

Well I really wanted to give this place higher marks, but I just can’t so it. The staff was very friendly but poorly trained. The major exception being the bartender who was professional and friendly. We had the calamari as an appetizer. While well flavored with a very good marinara, it was overcooked and rubbery.
We both ordered pasta dishes with chicken as the entrée. While both dishes were different, they both tasted identical which was puzzling. The sauce tasted of way too much butter and heavy cream in both. The chicken as stated in another review was very over cooked and tough. Huge letdown.
And to top things off when we asked for a little extra pita chips and hummus which we’re provide non gratis they said no but we could purchase a full plate of it.
All in all for 60 $ for two people I honestly would have preferred just about anywhere else.
Oh one last note. The homemade, tho arriving well after the entrée was served, was in truth very good!
