For the last 75 years we have been selling and servicing bicycles. We also care a wide selection of bicycle accessories and apparel. We sell some of the largest bicycle brands such as Specialized, Giant Bicycles, Raleigh, Haro, Redline, Torker and Worksman Cycle. Our staff is willing and able to help with car rack, indoor trainer and many of your bicycle related needs. We provide pick-​up and delivery service. We also do Airdyne exercise equipment repair both in home and in our store. We offer bicycle rentals and BG Fit services.

Gwen was strolling around her father’s bicycle shop at a young age. Learning and listening as the bicycle shop was buzzing with activity. While attending college at Lawrence University, Gwen often road between campus and work at Appleton Bicycle. Appleton Bicycle Shop opened in1939, in Soldiers Square. Founder, Clarence

Hinzman, did all general repairs and sold Schwinn bicycles for $ 18.95. Now in its fourth

generation and still family owned and operated by granddaughter Gwen. The Hinzman

family’s determination to always provide great customer service before and after a sale,

has solidified Appleton Bicycle Shop as a unique family owned and operated retail store.

The Hinzman family has been building, repairing, and selling bikes in the Fox Cities

for over 75 years. They owe their longevity to loyal customers, good quality bikes and caring about customers.
