The American Automobile Association

We dont use AAA much anymore. They have gotten more expensive and yet dont offer more for that higher price. Their tourbooks for hotels/​motels keep listing less and less every year. We have noticed that some of their hotel prices are higher than the hotel itself which is weird. AAA is suppose to help you save money, not spend more.
I also notice they no longer offer very good deals for amusement parks. For Knotts Farm, our ticket is 37.99 each. With AAA it was 34.99. Seriously, only a $ 3 discount? They dont even offer special pricing for a One-​Day ticket to disney land. They make you buy a 2 –day ticket (or park hopper ticket) so you dont save anything if you only want to be there one day.
Their auto insurance is a joke. Way to expensive for very minimal coverage. We had to pay over $ 1800 a year for 2 cars with the least amount of coverage. We switched back to state farm where we pay approx 1600 (800 2x a year) for a lot more better coverage.
Next year we plan on getting rid of our memberships. We find much better deals in many other places.
