Midfield aviation, located midfield, at the Apple Valley Airport, has been in business since 1978. In 1984 Patrick built and developed the current Midfield site, which includes one 8400 sq ft main maintenance hangar with office and 54 individual hangars with taxiways.
Midfield offers aircraft rental, flight training from private pilot to airline transport pilot, maintenance, tie downs and hangars.
Ten aircrafts are available for rent from tail draggers, Cessna’s, Piper’s as well as complex planes.
Midfield has taught hundreds of pilots. Some have gone on to be airline pilots or joined the air force or army to be helicopter pilots.
Maintenance includes aircraft annuals, repairs, and modifications.
Ground schools, private and instrument pilot, are offered several times a year in the evenings or on weekends.
Four times a year Midfield offers a flight review class, as part of the pilots’ biannual flight review, to keep pilots up to date on the latest information.
