Ding Bat Bars

I love health foods. I love the concept of the easy go to meal or snack. However after sampling these, I would not recommend. Each flavor leaves an after taste not a pleasant one either. The consistency is ok, but there are better products out there.

These things are amazing! I ran into a Ding Bat Bar booth at a local farmer’s market, and decided to sample their peppermint one. This proved to be a fantastic choice, as it tastes like a candy bar — but not only did I get to eat it guilt-​free, but it actually filled me enough that I didn’t have to worry about lunch (and believe me, I’ve got a robust appetite). They’re all-​natural, they’re healthy, they’re delicious, and they’re easily head and shoulders above similar bars such as Cliff or Health Warrior.

I first tried DDB after finding the booth at the farmer’s market. I liked the idea of having a bar made up of… wait for it… food. Novel concept, right? I try to eat real food vs combinations of substances and things derived from food so these bars were perfect!
At the time, I was working a job that kept me in the Mojave desert for long durations and needed something that could keep my energy up, be healthy for me, and stand up to the job I was working. It was a perfect fit! I loved being able to reach into my pocket and pull out a bar that tasted like apple pie or cranberries!
They did so well that I decided to take a bunch to Yosemite with me and my friends last summer. Instead of a few other bars on the market that are hard to chew, full of preservatives and chemicals, and taste like cardboard, I had these amazing bars to keep me going. We hiked over 60 miles in five days and only at meals at breakfast and dinner. The rest of the time we snacked on these bars to keep us going. I was surprised that, on the trip home, after seven total days in my bear canister, the bars still tasted great.
So, if you’re in the market for a bar and want one made out of food (and not «food stuff») then grab some of these!

Every bar is wonderful. Their slogan «where healthy never tasted so good» is very accurate. When you eat the bars you forget that what you are eating is healthy and good for you. I recommend these bars for everyone. The lady selling the bars also makes them which I think is amazing as she is extremely knowledgable and truly wants her customers to eat healthy and delicious products. She is very vivacious and wonderful to talk to. I will be a repeat customer for sure!!!
