Sweet Cheeks Bakery is a little piece of heaven, serving up divine desserts with southern hospitality. The cakes, pies, and pastries found within this little gem of a bakery are made from scratch with love, just like grandma used to make! Entering our bakery with a sweet tooth is a set-​up for pure bliss. As soon as you walk inside, you’ll see an array of homemade treats ranging from cakes, cheesecakes, and pies to brownies, blondies, and cannolis. With tables for dining and a selection of drip and French pressed coffees, folks can easily find a moment of peace in our cozy bakery.

We focus on using only the finest and freshest ingredients, including whole eggs and pure vanilla extract. Sweet Cheeks Bakery, just like the delectable desserts we offer, was founded on love and faith in 2009. We started the business as a way to get back to simple — a return to what’s good in life. At Sweet Cheeks Bakery, we believe that baking is a way of life. Doing it right — using fresh, local, quality ingredients and incorporating the love of recipes handed down from generation and generation — that is the good life. We want to share the simple pleasure of homemade, heavenly baked goods with the people of Apex. With over 6 years of success, we look forward to adding you to our long history of happy customers.

Business Owner

Visionary and owner Jackie Green is the passionate entrepreneur of Sweet Cheeks Bakery. Jackie learned the fine art of southern baking at a very young age growing up in South Carolina. After the death of her mother when she was seven years old, she was raised by her grandmother and aunts who passed on their love of baking. She spent hours in the kitchen under their tutelage learning the baking techniques and specialties the old-​fashioned way.

Jackie enjoys being able to serve the public at Sweet Cheeks Bakery, where she bakes specialty cakes, southern style pies, and mouth-​watering pastries reminiscent of her youth, just like her grandma used to make — from scratch with love! She is never far from serving you a slice of heaven from her kitchen full of love.
