History

Established in 1990.

Secur-​Tek was incorporated in January of 1990 to provide quality alarm systems for the Triangle area. Since 1990, we have added Intercom Systems, Dirt Devil Central Vacuums, Control4 home and commercial automation systems, Bose Built-​Invisible Whole House Music and Home Theater Systems, Theater Projectors, Structured Wiring, and other quality products and services. Our primary service area is Eastern and Central North Carolina.

Ken Henke, President/​Owner

Ken has been in the industry since 1983 and established Secur-​Tek, Inc. in 1990, where he now leads a team of sales, technical and support staff. Ken’s business philosophy is to provide his customers with quality products and first class service at a competitive price.

Ken and Secur-​Tek are licensed under the North Carolina Alarm Systems Licensing Board and Ken himself is active on the Board for North Carolina Electronic Security Association. He holds an Associates degree in Electronics and attended NC State.

In his spare time, Ken is an avid Hurricanes fan and is active in his church. Ken also likes to garden and is involved in the Holly Springs Garden Club and the Holly Springs Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
