The Conservatory specializes in a quality educational dance program for children ages 2 ½ through adults. The experienced faculty is devoted to developing dancers in a healthy, creative, and diverse atmosphere. The classes are structured by both age and skill and the training is systematically developed to help the students meet their maximum potentials in a pleasant and fun enviroment.

Infinity Ballet Theatre creates performing opportunities for the students through out the year, that enriches their lives and expands the appreciation of the performing arts within the community.

History

Established in 2002.

Infinity Ballet was originally founded 1997 in the New York metropolitan area as a touring group of professionals to offer quality dance programs. Artistic Director, Debra Sayles Senchak, an acclaimed principal dancer and one of Infinity Ballet’s founders, is a proponent of the concept that dance, like all arts, is a powerful reflection and expression of life. Upon retiring from a twenty five year career on the stage Ms. Senchak relocated to North Carolina and in 2002 was instrumental in opening the doors of Infinity Ballet Conservatory (IBC) located in Apex, NC. Infinity Ballet Theatre (IBT) was incorporated in 2005 as a separate non-​profit company to provide performing opportunities for local dance students in the Wake County area. IBT holds workshops and performances through out the year partnering with local theaters.

Debra Sayles S.

Business Owner

Debra began her professional career at the age of sixteen. Noted for her versatility as a principal dancer with the New Jersey Ballet Company, she has performed extensively throughout the world and has toured with Edward Villella Dance Ensemble, Stars of American Ballet, and Kozlov and Friends. In 1996 she co-​founded Infinity Ballet and has been instrumental since than in organizing performing groups with various art forms to present educational projects. Ms. Sayles began her dance studies in Cecchetti training under Margaret Dallman and continued at Washington School of Ballet under Mary Day. Her advanced studies were at American Ballet Theater School, David Howard School and New Jersey Ballet School where she later joined the faculty. She has formal training from Peggy Willis Aarnio in the Complete Teaching Method of Classical Dance, developed by Vera Kostrovitskaya and based on the work of Agrippina Vaganova at the Imperial Ballet in St. Petersburg, Russia.
