Hendrick Toyota Scion Apex

This service center has lost all credibility with me. They seem to be far more focused on pushing over priced repairs than helping the customer to keep their car running in a way that works for their budget. One example is that I was told that I needed front end brakes and new rotors for $ 370. Another business agreed that brakes would be needed by next oil change but said that new rotors were not necessary and that it would cost $ 188. My air filter? $ 49 at Hendrick. $ 28 elsewhere. Diagnosis cost me $ 125 to look at a few items. Just diagnosis. Further, went in with 4 working and inflated tires. I declined over the phone to replace the tire they said I should replace (at $ 135) and they brought the car to me with a flat tire when I came to pick it up. I asked if they could please fill the tire with air so I could get home. They did. The staple with a plastic tag that had punctured my tire appeared to be new since it was not beat up and the leak was fast. Maybe their shop needs better clean up procedures? How could I prove they did it? It cost me $ 95 to replace. I’m sure they do good work, but they have lost all credibility with me. I will not be returning either to get service or to buy a new vehicle. He saw me coming. Never again. This is a rich-man’s shop.

Got my 2005 Sienna worked on to replace and flush the coolant system. Get my car done in 90 minutes. Try to use my $ 39.95 special and was told this does not applied to this car. Get charged $ 102 after $ 20 discount. When I got home, the coolant is low on the overflow tank. Look like I have to fill it up myself

Super disappointed in their service today. When we leased the car we were told we had oil changes for life. Came in for our 30k service and we’re told we were past our 25k so we had to pay $ 125 for an oil change and tire rotation! The service Representative was sarcastic and plain rude when I said I was never told I had to pay after 25k. Safe to say I left and won’t be returning. Likely not to purchase another Toyota.

So update on my service with Hendricks Toyota. Had nothing but great treatment with this company during my purchase, but after that have had nothing but problems!!! Bought the car back in August, they could only find one key so they told e they would order me a second key and call me when it came in. To make the story short I had to called!!! Eight different times, they transferred me between two different departments and both passed the buck over and over again. It has now been more than four months and I have yet to receive my second key even thought I had an I owe you from the company to promise to give me a second key. I can not tel you how frustrating it is to call a company this many times and never get any assistance from them at all. They had no problem taking my money, but BIG problems with fulfilling there end of the agreement. I got tired of the back and forth and started asking to speak to the sales manager, even left a message on his answering machine and not ONCE did he ever try to call me back. Plain and simple this company is great at getting your money and getting you to agree to a deal, but could care less about anything after they get paid for the deal, that is obviously from the sales department and the sales management included!!! Will never shop here again, I don’t even want there free oil changes, I would rather pay than to ever go back to this one sided organization again!!! Think twice before you use Hendricks Toyota of Apex, will help you spend your money with no problem, but could careless about taking care of you, or honoring their I owe you after they are paid!!!

I have been going to this dealership since they first opened. Nick the service manager is awesome! Danielle is the service advisor that typically takes care of me. She is great. I have had no BS and they have always gone above and beyond to take care of the service for my Avalon or any other car I have brought to get serviced here. If something isn’t right they always fix it. I recommend this dealership for sales and service.

Don’t go here they told me I needed brakes. I didn’t think my car needed them so got another opinion they were fine only half used. Hard enough to make it through life but these guys are trying to make money by telling lies

Good Service. Friendly staff. Takes about an hour to service the vehicle. Has customer lounge for waiting. They even have wifi for customers to keep us connected during the wait times.

Their service department is consistently 5-​star. Timely and friendly greeting, efficient, and it’s easiest to wait, because they’re always very quick on routine servicing. The waiting area is large, has good tables (high and low) to work on, power outlets, and good free wifi. The coffee is surprisingly good! I serviced a car there yesterday, and they made a minor adjustment to the muffler free of charge; many a service operation would charge a «book time» of 15 – 30 minutes for that, i.e. $ 30 – 90, but they didn’t. Nice.

Mixed feelings about this place. The sales experience was excellent (forget the name of the sales associate – but she was direct, up front and minimal game playing once I showed her my trucar papers.
I have not been happy with the service department, they seem to have a high turnover. I’ve worked with different people each time I’ve been there and it’s been bad in a different way each time: one guy went to lunch and left me sitting for 2 hrs after when he told me the car would be ready (and could not be found when I went looking) but someone else did help me out apologetically; the next time the guy was just ridiculously patronizing, like he was doing me a favor in checking in my car; another time they railroaded me into bringing the car in more quickly because they refused to do oil change, 21 pt inspection and rotate tires in the same visit; my windshield wiper rean out even though they were supposedly «topping it off» each time; what can I say.
I regret buying their extended service contract – DONT DO IT! You will pay too much for a couple of oil changes and rotating tires, it stops right befor the 60k mile service. Plus you are stuck with poor service managers, paying too much.
All in all, buy your car here, know the blue book value, get service elsewhere.

I would say that they have a variety of cars, different brands. But the quality of the cars are not spot on. A little bit drity or not impressive at first sight compared to Leith Honda.

This is my new dealership for all future Toyota cars. I bought 3 cars from another dealership in Glenwood Ave in Raleigh. My experience with Kyle John, Alyson Boltja were fantastic. The transition from web sales to onsite sales was completely uninterrupted. When presented options and up sales items, I was never felt pressure as it seems Kyle wanted to inform rather than pressure sales. I really like this new way of doing business — for me time is very important and they did not waste my time. I would recommend this dealership and this sale team to anyone. Great Experience at a car dealership! Wow! that is the most awkward thing I that typed :)

I bring my Avalon in for service and, let me say, that this may be the best dealership I have ever gone to. The team doesn’t waste time meeting you at the car to write you up and they get the work done quickly with no hassle at all.

Brought my Toyota here for a recall service. First visit. Service check-​in was reasonably efficient, but they were completely unwilling to provide a loaner car (happy to collect your money if you want to rent one, though). The visit gave me lots (and lots) of time to witness their showroom in action. Just… wow. Typical car sales behavior. They size you up as soon as you get in the parking lot. Lots of typical high pressure car sales lines. But on the other hand, I couldn’t get anyone to give me the time of day. Which is strange, because you’d think they’d want to put an owner of an older car into the new model. The while place left me feeling like I wanted to wash up afterward. Though that may have just been all the flies buzzing around the showroom and waiting area.

I have mixed feelings about this place.
One the one hand Timothy in finance was absolutely fantastic. We did our financing before going it so there wasn’t a much paperwork but what little we have he made nice an easy. We had also been waiting for a bit so he did come out about 10 minutes before he was ready for us to let us know about how long it would be and he stuck to it. Once we where in his office, he went as quick as possible to get us out of there.
On the other hand our salesperson didn’t really know a whole lot about the car we test drive. Didn’t really know the difference in trims or what the gas tank size was. Had no idea that it was advertise for $ 6k off on their website. I also asked him if he could look into something for me and call us which he said he would do. Weeks later no call.
We got a good deal on the car and this experience has been better than some other dealers I have dealt with locally but overall there is nothing special about them that would make me specifically go there to buy another car.

I tried to buy my new car here, but they were not willing to deal, so I went up to the other Toyota dealer up north and saved ~$ 1500 on the same car.
I’ll drive an extra half hour for $ 1500 in savings, but I figured these guys would be fine for the included services on my Prius. I just had the 15k service done yesterday with no drama, although it did take a while. Fortunately they have good wifi and popcorn in the waiting area so I was able to get some work done and didn’t notice how long the service took.
What I did find annoying was that they took my key chain. It was just a generic plastic thing but it had the OTHER Toyota dealer’s name on it so i guess they thought it needed to go? Since the Prius has one of those «smart» keys you don’t put in the ignition I didn’t notice it was missing until I got home and fished the keys out of the cup holder. Ironically they other dealer gave me a couple of those stupid key chains so I was able to replace it.

I have had my vehicle serviced at Hendrick of Apex twice now. The customer service is outstanding from the moment I drive my vehicle through the doors. Greeted by a smiling «service attendant». We go over the work that is to be completed. I have waited and left my vehicle.
If you wait for you vehicle Hendrick of Apex provides free beverages and snacks. Free Wi-​Fi, child play area, and work area for professionals. They keep you informed with what is going on with your vehicle. Great customer service.
If you drop your vehicle off at Hendrick of Apex you will receive phone calls on the progress that is being done on the vehicle.
The hours they provide are great for anyone that needs to have service done on their vehicle.
Highly recommend Toyota of Apex to all my family and friends for great courteous professional service.

I had to file both a Better Business Bureau complaint and consumer complaint with the NC State Attorney General’s office over the unauthorized credit inquiry. Hendrick Toyota is ignoring it all, they responded to BBB with a generic statement and never addressed the unauthorized credit inquiry. They have no interest in correcting it and calling the credit bureau to have it removed.
Stay away from this terrible dealership.

Stay away. They are a scam company. They charge people for work that is not needed.
Just an oil change can cost you 750.00.
Have a second option done before you pay them any money.

We were pleased to find we could get our RAV4 serviced on a Sunday! The staff was friendly, and very helpful when we told them we were moving here from VA.
Service was quick and the pricing was less than we were used to spending.
Cheaper than Jiffylube, washed the car and were prompt as well as courteous.
We’ve found our new Toyota dealership!
And they accepted our Unilocal 10% discount!
