The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. HOWEVER, while the menu has a lot of yummy options, they often run out of stuff and/or can’t find it in stock. Their hours are pretty inconsistent, too. Don’t go by what you may read online. They open and close whenever they want which can be frustrating.

Even McDonald’s beats this place. Looked good passing by, but food was very low quality. We couldn’t see exhaust from a real charcoal grill, or even smell meat cooking on a flattop. We suspected from the lack of smell, and the look of the meat itself, that the burgers were«cooked» in a microwave. Bun was totally cold, and the burger was tasteless. Onion rings were OK – typical beer batter, and probably frozen. The fried mushrooms were the worst – lots of crusty batter, and the texture of the mushroom was slimy. The place seemed popular, but I can’t for the life of me understand why…

I eat on a regular basis here. I work near by Food is good. Since they opened stuff has changed but they have burgers, Philly’s and open for breakfast during the summer a shake from there hits the spot. I really like the fried fried mushrooms with ranch.

After a long day of kayaking on Jordan Lake, I was famished and so I stopped at Grill-N-Go. The shake that I had while waiting for my meal was terrific. That made me think the food would probably be as good. Oh no. Definitely not. The hot dogs with chili and onions were, except for the onions, tasteless. And that’s being generous. Grilled food imparts a distinct flavor. That flavor was no where to be found. The hotdogs came across as having been little more than unthawed and the bun was the lowest quality bread. The fried mushrooms were soggy. As if that weren’t bad enough, a couple of hours later, I was sick. The hot dogs tasted about the same coming up as they did going down. DONOTEATHERE!

Finally got back here and ordered the all beef chili cheese dog. Nice that they don’t charge anymore whether you get all beef or NC red dog. It was all really good except the onions, although fresh looking, they did not taste right. Very intense, bitter, and just all around bad. Later that evening I ended up having a very upset stomach. Disappointed to say the least.

Worst burger ever. I ordered a hamburger and it came with cheese. I looked at the menu afterward and noticed they don’t even offer hamburgers, only cheeseburgers. Luckily the cheese wasn’t melted so I was able to take it off. Tomatos were green and hard. Took them off too. The frozen patty smelled bad so I just threw it out. Fries were soggy. Will not be going back. Too bad as I pass by it everyday.

Even though this place is on the way to the like, I would warn you against eating here you go swimming. These burgers will weigh you down in your stomach like a boat anchor. Fries soggy. About $ 8 for a burger, fries, and drink, kind of high I thought. My biggest complaint is that they have closed the customer bathroom. I came here a couple of times after fishing all morning and needed a place to use the bathroom and wash my hands before I ate. No! That’s OK, there are two other places at that intersection that offer indoor seating and a clean place to wash up.

Fries were soggy, but had a nice seasoning. Grilled chicken sandwich was overpriced. Came on a cold, not toasted hoagie roll, chicken was an average size(for a sandwich) but very very thin piece of chicken that they cut in half. Also not the fastest stop in the world, but at least you know they are making it right then.

Nope, not a chance. don’t stop, just keep on moving. Food was cold, french fries where hardly cooked. Very bad smell coming from somewhere in the drive through lane. Had high hope and couldn’t wait to stop, then we couldn’t leave fast enough.

It took us forever to get our food(early morning, in a hurry), and the meat was so dry and tasteless, we had to stop by Wendy’s half an hour later. Very disappointed; I was hoping for a fast and tasty restaurant on the road.

I had high hopes for this place because I am such a fan of mom and pop’s drive in. It is always busy when I drive by. I am not really sure why after trying their food. Dry burgers and soggy fries. They season their fries so if they would cook them longer then they would be much better. The burgers taste they are cooked ahead of time and then reheated for each order. Plus you can tell they are frozen preformed burgers not patted out fresh. Low quality ingredients. Would I come back? Nope. It was $ 15.00 bucks for two burgers, fries, and drinks. Save your money and go to Wendy’s. Plus the soda was flat. Sad day for me.
