History

Established in 2013.

I’ve always had a love for photography, even as a kid when I’d tear through rolls of 110 film faster than my parents could keep me supplied. After years of taking photographs for my own education and fun, family and friends, I decided to embark on the journey of starting a small business in late 2013.

To me, photography isn’t just a portrait hung on a wall; it’s a way to capture the important moments and memories in our journeys through life. And those moments could be anything… a family re-​united, a portrait to mark a birthday, a soccer game, a wedding, a sunrise over the ocean, a natural setting or a building that you never want to forget.

1) I’m a dad. I’ve had a lot of practice photographing my kids. As a result, I’ve become accustomed to fidgets, boredom and distractions while trying to shoot. It’s all part of the deal, and I love the challenge and creativity it takes to keep the focus of the little ones.

2) I believe in affordability. Probably a direct result of number 1 above. I do my best to keep session and product prices low.

3) I believe in giving people options and respecting choices. I’m not in any way a fan of forcing clients to purchase packages of prints or make a minimum order. After a session, there is absolutely no obligation to order prints or products. If you choose to order or download photos from our time together, you’ll be ordering the products you want, in the quantity you want, every time.
