Bob Melander, the owner and head instructor at 4 Winds Martial Arts, has over 24 years of martial arts experience. 4 Winds Martial Arts originally opened in Goodyear, Arizona in 2008 and closed in 2013 when Bob moved to Apex, North Carolina.

Sifu Bob Melander is the owner and head instructor of 4 Winds Martial Arts. He has been teaching and training in Martial Arts for 24 years and currently holds a 5th Degree Black Belt in Kajukenbo Tum Pai Kung Fu. As a part of his Martial Arts program, he also teaches Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Judo/Jujitsu, Kenpo Karate, and Escrima (Philippine Knife/Stick fighting). Additionally Sifu Bob has Grappling/Wrestling background, and has also taught Krav Maga.
