Specialties

We love our fellow wind brothers and sisters. We do custom embroidery and leather services.

What to design your own shirt? We can help you with that as well.

Coming soon at our Grand Opening we will have a full line of leather goods. If there is something you are looking for let us know we can help or make it ourselves.

History

Established in 2014.

We wanted a place where you can find what you may be looking for. If we don’t have it in stock we can get it or make it ourselves.

Our business name of Leather & Gasoline was formed out of a want and need for a place to go for all your leather needs. The gasoline part of our name is for the machine shop we hope to have open soon.

We wanted a good location and the building we decided on was in much need of repairs and updating. This has caused a hitch in our budget as it needed more work then what you could see if your visible eye. So this has caused a delay in opening the machine shop unfortunately. Since this is a passion of Shawn’s we hope that it will be open soon.

Meet the Business Owner

Joy and Shawn M.

Business Owner

Wow talking about yourself isn’t easy.

Joy — I learned to sew at a very young age. My mother studied to be a home economics teacher. My grandfather gave me the passion for leather working. I inherited his leather tool trunk. Combining the two skills to make new pieces is rewarding.

I hope to be offering custom bras and corsets for the ladies. Unfortunately with the time it takes to make one I will either need to wait until we added help in the shop or if I can find someone to contract with us who has these skills and is needing work. Yes we have a list of customers who cant wait to get their custom design ordered.

Shawn — He started out in Auto shop in high school. It grew into a job after school and weekends working in a local machine shop in Chandler.

He took his passion for mechanics to the next level by getting his A P certification working on airplanes. After many years working for companies like Gulfstream. He wants to back working for himself in a machine shop.
