Lamplighter Mobile Home Park

If you buy a mobile there, don’t plan on getting any money from it if you need to move. The current owners didn’t offer me a dime and selling to someone else is near-​impossible… Probably because most people know about how things are run there. We just moved out several months ago, couldn’t get the mobile moved when they wanted us to, so they charged us for rent until we gave up, no one wanted to buy, even at $ 500 when we bought it from the park for nearly 10x that… We were broke and had to «sell» back to management… Not that we were offered anything. So glad we moved out, but also sad we didn’t do it sooner…
OH! And as far as «staff» goes, if you ever give one of the «staff» any gruff about anything, they try to take advantage of you to show they are the «boss.» They harassed me for any little violation (we were once forced to pay a «fee» for having a small amount of weeds three inches away from being off our «property» line) after I had enough of being yelled at for things I knew were not in the agreement, AND things I had not done… No wonder the only people that stay are the people who can’t leave! If they keep jacking up the cost of the lot rent (which is why we left), their only «loyal» customers will have to move out, too!
If for some ODD reason you HAVE to move in here, be sure to read EVERYTHING in the papers you sign. You are signing your rights away. Don’t let them bully you like I did! I should have put my foot down sooner.
