Came here for some breakfast since it’s a midway point for my family and I to meet up. The food is good, but the décor and the inside are just horrible. As soon as I walked in, I wanted to walk right back out. There was no highchairs for my daughter. They just didn’t have any. If you go through the drive-thru which we’ve done before then it’s not so bad, because you don’t see the inside. Place needs a facelift for sure, because it doesn’t match the food. Give the food a chance and you’ll see that its a lot better than the place looks. Horrible first impression. Great staff though! Even though they messed up our order she fixed it after she gave us an excuse. Working in customer service people don’t care about the excuse they care about the resolution. Don’t blame it on us and say well I heard you say.

Taco Tuesday is why we stopped here then when you go to order the special your told sorry that price is for only after 3pm it’s the new rule it doesn’t say that on the menu board they wait until you order it to tell you. Poor customer service. I was given soft tacos and told you have to ask for them hard wth Not worth the price of food or the pain they give you when you ask them to make it the way it should have come. And the plate it was served on was chipped. Classy. If I’m going to spend 27 I dollars for two meals I’m going to go to paradise valley were the food is better and the service is better. Won’t be going back

Wow. Great food. So nice to have a cool little spot in our town to grab a bite. Burgers are killer good and the zucchini in such a generous portion and fried to perfection. Everything we ordered was on point. Love the 371 Diner!

Big sky and dirt trails horse country among mountains chickens a frying. The sun was bright but there was a chill in the air. Anza. Has the same small town feel I got driving through Maggie Valley North Carolina. It’s nice not seeing any cars for miles and the lack of buildings. Just the wide open sky. I needed a break from the road and spotted Diner 371. Menu board reminds me of Dairy Queen. Really huge dining area with not too many people late in the morning on a Sunday. Girls at the counter were pretty friendly. I found a comfy booth and relaxed. Was very impressed how fast my fried chicken came out. The fast food type fry was crunchy and had excellent flavor. Perfect mix of salt and seasoning salt with no aftertaste from the frying liquid. Onion rings were crunchy but a bit lacking in flavor. Should have tried them first… The 4 pieces of fried chicken was a huge meal I barely finished. The chicken had excellent crispy skin/batter. The spices in the batter were a bit like KFC. Loved the sweet flavor of the chicken. I’m guessing they marinated it before battering and frying it. :-) Really impressed by how juicy the chicken was. Total opposite of those dark days when I use to reheat Banquet Fried Chicken in the toaster oven. Back outside I admired the sky and nearby mountains. Beautiful country out here. I’ll be back for the fried chicken and the serenity. Update 4÷3÷2015 Bacon hamburger has excellent bacon flavor. The lettuce, tomato, and beef taste pretty good. Better than the fast food places I’ve tried but not as flavorful as the gourmet burger places like Burger Lounge or Crazee Burger. Fried zucchini looks like big french fries. The batter is nice and crunchy. Zucchini is juicy and has excellent flavor. My fav side dish so far. Vanilla shake was ordered extra thick and was almost as thick as a Hodad’s shake. Really good flavor. Better than your normal fast food shake out of a machine.

Good place to get a variety of different types of food up here in Anza. It seems they have a few cooks because sometimes it’s better then other time. Put always good. Take out orders are done fast and dine in orders are a pleasure every time. The staff is nice and courteous. Facility is usually kept clean.

I love this diner! I particularly recommend their breakfast. Their food is delicious, cooked to perfection and very cheap. You get big portions for your buck!

Good food for most of their items. Chicken sandwich is always huge and very tasty… expect to pay around 8 to 10 dollars (UPDATE expect to pay at least 12.00 as they have increased their prices) for your meal with free refills on the drink. Disappointed there was about a two dollar increase lately for the combo.

Great little roadside eatery! A buddy and I stopped here while passing through town and we were both pleasntly surprised by the quality of the food. At least on weekends they serve breakfast all day and their prices were fair. I’ll be eating here again the next time I’m in Anza!

Works for me! Ordered the Greek Salad with Chicken. Great Greek dressing, lots of chicken, Feta cheese, olive rings, roma tomato, cucumber, onion, and a bunch of peperoncini. Excellent!, see photo. New owner has expanded the menu. Our party of three ordered all different items and everyone was pleased. Great stop if you are on a motorcycle ride.

You can’t judge a book by its cover certainly applies here. Don’t know that I would have the guts to stop here after dark, but my family tried this place on our way back from Idyllwild this afternoon and were pleasantly surprised. They have a really extensive menu with both American and Mexican food, including omelettes, pancakes, french toast, shrimp and steak platter(most expensive item on the menu @ 11.99, I think), pork chops, burritos, fish tacos and a bunch of other stuff that I would love to try next time. My husband loved his chicken club sandwich. My 10 year old got his standard cheeseburger with ketchup only and remarked how they actually got the order right. I had the veggie omelette(tomatoes, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms) which comes with potatoes and toast. Really good, really big and only $ 6.09! All the drinks(including coffee) are serve yourself/unlimited refills. Ordering is at the counter(fast food style) but they bring your order to your table, and service is quick and friendly. I probably should give them 5 stars but since the place leaves a little to be desired in atmosphere I’ll call it 4.5.

I come here almost every other day and all I can say is that I can’t get enough of their food. All portions are huge ranging from breakfast to lunch and dinner. Their burgers are monstrous and the breakfast burrito is to die for. I recommend this place to everyone.

I had lunch here several months ago, and although it was not great, it was ok. I just had breakfast today, and I have to say the food was GHASTLY! The eggs were ok, the sausage was not sausage and the potatoes were fried and burned boiled potatoes. The toast was barely toast with a quart sized glop of grease in the middle. Never again!
