The Barker Shoppe

This place is wonderful. They do great work and my old 14 yr old dog loved them. We will go back when visiting next Summer

Our baby boy is short haired so we don’t take him to get groomed but we have taken him to get his nails trimmed here. The atmosphere is wonderful! Each time I have come in here I never have any nervous feelings or get worried. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Our dog also enjoys the people and the other dogs! I love how they bring him in and are not scared of him like most people are (1 year old blue nose). He gets so excited to be around the other dogs. He is put up on the table they trim his nails real quick and painless and he is done. It usually is only a couple minutes we are in there but every time we have been in there it is a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this place! The prices are reasonable and the staff is knowledgeable. They are only open till 4pm which is sometimes hard with my work schedule but I don’t mind stopping in on the weekends because they are very conscious about doing a great job and it only takes minutes. Keep up the great service!

I brought my dog to the shop for the first time today and he looks great. He was a little difficult with them, but they were very understanding and professional. They took the time to talk to me before and after and I’d recommend them to anyone. The price was very reasonable, too. We have tried a few groomers, but were never really satisfied. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you!!!

This is absolutely the best place to take your dog for grooming. Peg, the owner is so nice and you can really see how dedicated she is to the dogs. My dog loves going there and Peg even stayed late since I was running late from work one evening. She was still friendly when I arrived an hour late to pick up my dog. You will not regret taking your dog to The Barker Shoppe. I personally guarantee it!

I have been taking my three dogs, a mini schnauzer, a yorkie, and a shorkie (shih tzu/​yorkie mix) to the Barker Shoppe for years. After many mishaps with other groomers causing ear infections and just plain ugly haircuts, I would never take my dogs anywhere else! The shop is cute, the owner and her staff are friendly and genuinely love their canine clients. One of my dogs has some ear issues and they always take special care of him and we’ve never had another problem. And all three always look amazingly cute after their grooming. The dogs love it there so much we call it a trip to the doggie spa instead of the groomer :)

I love this place! The owner is awesome and always makes you feel welcome and your pets feel safe. She and her staff do amazing work. And my dig always comes home smiling. Prices are VERY reasonable and they’ll trim nails on a walk in. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!
