The Bagpiper

My wife and I hired Jeff to play at our wedding (before the ceremony as guests arrived) at Cavallo point in early September, 2015. He was absolutely fantastic. Professional, on time, wonderful to work with, and most importanly, one helluva’ a piper! I would strongly recomend Jeff if you are looking for a talented bagpiper for any event!

Really enjoyed having Jeff play at our son’s recent wedding in San Ramon. He played at our daughter’s wedding some years ago in Walnut Creek also. Jeff was very professional and responded to any emailed questions we had promptly. He was punctual and played both a processional and an «after the ceremony» melody which we selected. Everyone enjoyed his playing and our guests were delighted with the Scottish music! He posed with the bride and groom for photos after the ceremony. We would recommend jeff to anyone needing a first class bagpiper!

I had Jeff open up an event for a professional association in San Francisco. Given that the meeting was on ⁹⁄₁₁ we also had a US Air Force Color Guard present the Flag. Jeff did a great job working together to them to make a very memorable ceremony. Although he only played for a couple of minutes, it sounded great and was exactly the type of «mood maker» we were looking for. I am sure he is even better the more he plays various tunes.

I needed a piper to help celebrate a bday at work. Jeff was über talented, punctual, and accommodating. Can’t recommend him highly enough!

In a word, Jeff is SPECTACULAR. The consummate professional, a master musician, but on top of it all, a REALLY nice guy who, like others have said, will go above and beyond to make sure your very wish is fulfilled, as mine truly were. His presence MADE our event (a rehearsal dinner, «Joining of the Clans), drawing guests to the location like the Pied Piper, marching sentry-​like in front to set the tone of the evening, then leading yours truly in a procession culminating with Burn’s «Address to a Haggis» helping me achieve legendary status amongst my kin. Moreover, I would not have even had a Haggis to present were it not for his referral and sources, not to mention his recommendations for a suitable background music playlist. Hire him, you will be so glad you did.

Having Jeff Campbell play was the highlight of our daughter’s outdoor wedding ceremony. He was easy to work with and even drove a considerable distance to perform. We highly recommend him!

How can we begin to tell you how much having Jeff play at my Dad’s funeral meant to everyone there. Jeff is so personable and helpful at such a time. And his playing sooooo musical — he made the pipes sound like an orchestra (esp. on Amazing Grace!!). Everything we could have wished for. Highly recommended.

I got married in June and he was the piper for our wedding.
When I was planning the wedding, I knew I wanted a piper for the wedding, but had NO idea how to find a good one.
I went to the Scottish Festival and asked members of the group The Wicked Tinkers. They recommended Jeff by name immediately.
His site is simple but informative, and has samples of songs to help you plan your event. He was prompt, professional, friendly and his piping was perfect. I cannot say enough about how pleased I was.
He also went above and beyond and posed for some funny pix with one of my bridesmaids at her request. He was so good natured about it that we tipped him generously.
His rates are beyond fair, and his skills are immaculate!
