Southeast Regional Community Center

The community center is located at the old Hickory Hollow Mall off Bell Road. I needed to get in a quick workout while visiting town, and a friend recommended that I go here. I stopped by the front desk and was told they offer fitness center access for $ 3 daily or $ 30 monthly. I was definitely surprised when I stepped inside. It was much larger than I expected, well lit, clean, and tons of equipment. There were plenty of treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals, free weights, and machines. I went during a weekday afternoon, so there were less than five other patrons. It felt like I had the place to myself.
They offer fitness classes, have a full sized basketball court, and indoor/​outdoor tracks that I didn’t see. The locker room was small, but clean. There’s also a large library on the other side of the facility. I would recommend trying it out as long as it’s kept in top notch condition.
