Silver Sage Music Studio offers private lessons on flute or piano. Instructor Darlene Drew has been a professional performer and teacher in the Chicago area for the past 30 years. Silver Sage Music Studio is located at Silver Sage Farm on the Illinois/​Wisconsin border just 3 miles west of the 94 tollway and conveniently close to Antioch, Kenosha, Bristol, Zion, Wadsworth, Gurnee and Lake Villa. Students are taught at their own individual pace and have the opportunity to participate in the Silver Sage Salon Concerts.

History

Established in 2014.

Upon returning home after 4 years of touring with Disney’s Lion King production, Darlene Drew decided to open her studio to students who wanted to learn the joys of music making. Ms. Drew assists her students in meeting their desired goals with their music, whether it is excelling in their band program or learning their favorite pop or classical song.

Business Owner

Darlene Drew is a music career professional who began teaching and performing professionally while in high school. She has performed with all the top orchestras in the Chicago area and also in many Broadway shows including The Lion King, Wicked and Phantom of the Opera. She has taught beginner through university level students and currently is adjunct instructor of flute at Columbia College Chicago.
