I was initially lost for words to express my disgust towards this shop. I’ve never dealt with such incompetent jerks, specially this employee Troy whom I can’t quite figure out if he was plain drunk or high? His boss should have this worker in check! And I dealt with this other dude Rodel who left me flabbergasted charging me way too much for such a lousy service! My gf’s laptop hibernated in there, only to get it working for just a limited number of days where i had to(stupid of me) bring it back in just to get slapped with outrageous charges anew. I don’t know if it was on purpose that they didn’t do a good job initially, so i’d have to go back in just to be told there needed to be more work done = more money in their pockets! Not even the mere courtesy of fixing the lousy job they did on her laptop at no extra charge. Very scheming scammers. Now I know better next time to bring any pc problems and concerns somewhere else and entrust the job to reliable HONEST experts, even if I have to drive far and wide. The only reason why we settled for this shop is its close proximity to where we live, just a few blocks away. Too bad such an awful business exists in my neighborhood. This SBC is such a rip off. Needless to say a cesspool of crooked jerks! I’m taking this up with the BBB soon. If only there was an option for zero stars!

SBC Computer is in Atlantic Ave in Pittsburg 192 Atlantic Ave. These are the most incompetent group computer repair techs I have ever seen. They are rude, unorganized one person don’t know what the next one is doing. Took my computer to them for what I thought was a simple repair and after 5 returns and still not right. Lost charger, the charger they gave me shocked me as I plugged it in. Last time I took my computer in for the same problem, Troy told me he doesn’t work on anyone elses project and the guy who worked on it will not be back for 4 weeks. When I would call to check on the status Troy would hang up on me. These people have no business interacting with the public. I have heard so many complaints about this repair shop. So just remember YOUHAVEBEENWARNED. If I could give SBC Computer repair a zero I would. SEEYOUINCOURTRODEL «D»

Recently, I visited this place to diagnose the problems with my newly assembled desktop computer. The technician warmly greeted and heard the issues. He called me after an hour or so and explained power supply unit problem and he replaced and the computer worked perfectly. He also explained how to over clock the computer and answered all my Qs patiently. I would recommend this place for ur computer needs. Great value!!!

Really not a good place to go. We had a computer that was acting slow and we wanted to have it work faster. Seeing that we’re not IT professionals, we brought it in and told the gentleman what we wanted. He kept our computer for about 5 days, upgraded our memory, and the computer was just as slow as before. I was barely able to understand a word he said. You’re better off either buying a new computer or taking it to Geek Squad at Best Buy, where you can actually rely on a «Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed» policy and bitch at management if anything isn’t explained right or done properly.

It’s too bad one can’t rate a business ZERO stars. My experience was horrible. I took my computer here for repair and they not only didn’t fix my computer problem after working on it for over 10 days, they had the audacity to hand me a bill for $ 200! I asked the service person what the $ 200 was for, because my computer still had the same problem it did when I originally dropped it off. The service person proceeds to tell me how much time repairing the computer took, listing off what they did. I told him, I brought it in to repair one thing, and I’m taking it home with that one thing still not fixed. The service person told me that he would take a loss on my computer ‘repair’, and lowered the bill by $ 50. The end result was that I paid $ 150 for them to repair nothing. Do not leave your computer here without being explicit as to what you want repaired and at what dollar amount you expect a phone call for repairs. Had they done this, I would have told them at $ 75 that the computer is 3 years old and I’d rather put the money towards a new computer than put a band-aid on an old computer. Their service is horrible. Their communication with their customers is atrocious. I cannot urge you any more strenuously than this: take your computer for repair any where but here. Awful service. Shady business practices.
