Best pizza in lake county. Period. It does take a little while to be prepared (around thirty minutes). It is definitely worth the wait! I’ll take any of your free pizza coupons too!

If I could eat Ron & Pat’s pizza every time I craved pizza for the rest of my life, I would be happy as a clam. BBQ Pizza with Sausage (or chicken), bacon and onions. Probably ordered this exact pizza 1300 times, not once ever have been unsatisfied. Plus, every 20 times you visit, you get a free pizza, so if you’re a pizza hog like my fine self, you’ll get free pizzas all the time ;) Yes, sometimes the owners are a bit crabby — get over it, they’re probably just stressin trying to maintain that Numba 1 spot

Usually very good pizza. Today, we ordered an extra cheese with onion, pie sliced. Picked up the pie after the 50 MINUTE time to make. Got home to find the pizza was square cut and the onions were not sliced in «normal» sices but in large pieces leaving tough pieces in the pizza. When we called the owner, they told us «not to order again». WE WILL NOT order again as they do not deserve our $ 22 in CASH!!!

Food is excellent! In ordering once a week. every Friday for three years I can say food is never a fail. Tonight tipped the scales on Crazy!!! I was literally left in tears by the incredibly RUDE woman taking orders over the phone. She was screaming at me for the amount of wings I was trying to order (5)!!! Said she didn’t think they even had that many… hung up on me.SERIOUSLY.2x.I was already raw from dealing with a family funeral and all we wanted was to order some food. never again will we order from here. we have spent $ 40.00 a week here without fail for the past 3 years. I have never in my 47 years been reduced to tears by some eronious person!!! We will take our business elsewhere.

Best pizza I’ve ever had in this cosmic lifetime. Have had the pleasure of eating this pizza for the past 30 years of my 33 ¾ years in existence in this particular body at this particular time in space in this reality? (That’s deep. lake) Look forward to many more years! Thanks for making my mouth and belly so happy Kathy and Lee!

The best pizza I’ve ever eaten! Had my first pie in 1979 and I judge all pizza by The Ramigs recipe. My late brother and I would get the munchies and have to call and order A Ramiger!

BEST Pizza in the area! And a great price to boot! Someone recommended them to us over 15 years ago (and they come down from WI for it) and we are still loyal! We have relatives come from Florida looking to order every time they are in town.
Regarding the «rudeness» comment, yes we’ve encountered it both male and female… owners…but we just chalk it up.laugh.and call them the Pizza Nazis. We don’t let it bother us. You just can’t get this kind of pizza anywhere these days.

Best mom and pop pizza place still left standing. Delicious cheese and sauce combination. Price is standard for a small place but once you have it you’ll find it’s the place that you will consider first every time.

First time and we will order again. Friendly staff. A very good pizza. Good delivery and friendly delivery man. Really nice crust, cheese and sauce. The only negative is that the mushrooms seemed canned, but I may be wrong. Definitely recommended.

Owners are friendly and helpful! Yes it doesn’t look much from the outside, but its in a safe area. This is our new fav pizza shop and I especially love their personal pan! :-)

This is one of the best pizza places in the area. I was a little skeptical when we first ordered from here & picked it up (place looks like a trailer home), but the people were friendly & the pizza was great. The sauce tastes so fresh, that is what makes it. I wouldn’t recommend trying to eat there, carry it out.

I am a pizza connoisseur… I am Italian and fat, which makes me an expert. I love this pizza !!! It is consistently great. I just ordered two, one with sausage, mushrooms onions, green peppers and black olives… the other has pepperoni (pepperoni on top) both well done… I’m soooo excited I just drooled on my keyboard.

Ordered a thin crust pizza. and WOWOWOWOWOWOW! It is definitely the best pizza I have ever had. There are a few in second place in the area, but this is definitely the best! I can’t wait to try the different styles in the very near future!

This might be my shortest Unilocal review, as the quality of the food became irrelevant to us after dealing with the staff at Ron and Pat’s Pizza Shack. But, for the record, we ordered a thin-​crust, pepperoni pizza, and 3 out of 4 family members thought it was decent. Not great, but not bad.
However, in a challenging economy when people are eating out less and restaurants must compete more aggressively to stay afloat, I’m amazed that someone running a business would be so rude and grumpy with customers. Maybe we caught the gentleman behind the counter on an off night, or maybe he’s that unpleasant all the time… I don’t know, but I certainly won’t be back to find out!

Yes, this place looks scary from the outside. Yes, this place looks scary on the inside. But the pizza is damn good. We have been ordering it for years. Though my dad still won’t let me go by myself to pick it up…

Finally ordered from there approx. 6 – 11 after attempting to go there/​order from there for a few months, didnt order from there for that long because of their horrible hours… not open after 7 most days, not open late on weekends and not usually open for lunch. Hours seem to be random or convenient for the staff only. After all that, and disregarding all signs not to order, finally did when it was miraculously open while we were thinking of it, and hungry. About the food, i am not one to say ill of something that i have no experience in, but having worked in food, and specifically pizza for years… this was one of the worst if not, the worst. I ordered a hand tossed cheese and pepp with a side of cheese sticks, simple enough. Took over an hour and a half to make, we picked it up, thankfully didnt ask for delivery. The pizza tasted as if it had been under a heat lamp along with the mozz sticks. The dough was hard, the sauce was bitter and from a can. The toppings were thin and tasteless, and the mozz sticks were literally hollow, ¹⁄₈ cheese, the rest, crap and cold. The prices were high, thr staff was obnoxiously rude, the wait took forever, and their food just plain sucked. If you made it this far into this novel, take it from me, save your time money and gut rot. DONT ORDER FROM RON AND PAT… TERRIBLE!!!

I consider myself a pizza Conusor and this pizza is in my top 3. Everything about this pizza is awesome but it is the sauce that makes this pizza. The cheese is amazing. I don’t know how they do it. I only wish I could have this good of a pizza where I live in Chicago. I would do anything to get one or two delivered right now. One of the seven wonders of deliciousness. 50 Stars.

Almost every bar in the Chain «O» lakes ares serves pizza, and it’s almost always frozen. Ron and Pats is about as good as it gets for a Mom and Pop pizza joint. It is homemade and the ingredients are as fresh as can be with the exception of the mushrooms.
I point that out because I have had pizzas elsewhere and had them topped with canned mushrooms. I know many people who will eat fresh, but not the canned variety. I like both. Most places that use canned mushrooms will insist that they use fresh. When I asked the server if they were fresh or canned I got an honest answer, yes they use canned. So mushrooms it is on every pizza I order here. (The menu does not specify fresh mushrooms).
I wish the Chinese Buffet here in Uvalde TX. would be that honest when I inquire if it is Mongolian Beef, Mongolian Armadillo, Mongolian Shih-​zsu or Norwegian Wharf Rat.
If you are new to the area, give ‘em a try. I feel it is one of the best pizzas in the entire Chain area.
