I love the service there. It’s a lovely environment and the food there was great. The server got me my drink really quick and the service was unbeatable. The front lady working at the cashier was so sweet. She seemed to very enjoy her job. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in this area that wants a low-priced, delicious, mix of Asian food. I will definitely be coming back to this place!

Sunday dinner after a movie. Unfortunately our low expectations were not met. They have a lot of options for lots of tastes, including ‘safe American’ type items. Our tab was nearly $ 30 for two people. The mongolian BBQ station appearwd to be manned by the dishwasher, who put food on to cook, then put on gloves and left the cooking area ostensibly to do some dishes. Then returned to finish wife’s food, and had to wipe off the plate before outting cooked food on it. Too many ifs. The buffet line food we ate was generally under seasoned and not at all hot. The meats in stir frys was often overcooked. Breaded chicken was also dried out. We ordered Diet Coke and becerage brought. … we then notice the fountains are Pepsi products. WTF. No mention that they do, not cary Coke. Ditry plates piled up on table, no refulls brought. We gave it a go, but it appears the low marks are earned and this was not just an off night.

Food is not as good as other Chinese restaurants I’ve tried. The whole dining room is a bit dirty and dark.

0 Stars This gets the ‘worst buffet I’ve ever been to’ award. I highly recommend that you go some place else.

I’ve been here several times, and it’s been just OK, but my last visit has me scratching them off my list. We came here at 7 Friday night, but there were few patrons in the cavernous, gigantic, humungous dining room. A lot of the food on the buffet looked like it hadn’t been freshened in a very long time, with that crusty, shriveled appearance that you get when no one has stirred it or added water in a while. And the food simply didn’t taste very good. Instead of eating here, drive around the corner to China Pan Buffet, which is far superior to this place.

We went here for lunch this afternoon and the food was very good. They even had a habachi cook with numerous items who asked if we wanted shrimp then loaded them on. The food was fresh and tasty. Whomever in the past stated the service was bad should understand buffet means you rise from your seat and serve yourself. Our service was excellent! And handsome too! Now anyone who has ever eaten at any buffet ever, in the history of the world knows not to go late because after a certain time they do not refresh the food so go early. We went at lunch busy busy. Good food. Ok. Whomever posted photos of this is the front door was clearly bogus. Any idiot can tell that is the rear entrance sheesh get a life. Businesses unload supplies in the rear entrance. Fact of life. Clean, well staffed, good selection. Try it out.

I’ve driven by several times, so we finally went in to give it a shot. Celebrating a recent run-in of several good dances with Lady Luck, or shall I say having chased her down for years and forced her to dance with me!- we were in an extremely festive mood. We really just pulled over and were like whatever, wherever. :) The hostess was so extremely sweet and friendly, one of the nicest ladies you could hope to meet. Her husband is the chef. She is one of those rare persons that is working in the service industry as a career and putting her heart into this restaurant. She took care of us like family and checked on us throughout the meal. What a great gal! I really hope they get this place going in the right direction. That alone gives it an extra star. Also, the lot had many customers for a Tuesday afternoon. Their lunch items served alone were great! It’s just the buffet that was not done very well. Unfortunately, though the selection of food at the buffet was okay(not a lot of traditional chinese food there), it was NOTHOT. I ask two things of a buffet: 1. That the food not taste like all the other food. This is difficult in particular of breakfast buffets(eggs) which is why I avoid them, and buffets in general. The steam carries the flavor molecules over to the other ingredients and it all becomes one big Taste O’ Buffet. This happens constantly at City Club(a really fancy members-only restaurant downtown). The muffins there taste like omelets after 20 minutes. It drives me crazy! #firstworldproblems 2. That the food be hot and fresh. If it is not hot, it is has been TRULY sitting there forever. Oh, my. If it is not fresh, then it is crusty. Oh, dear. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry before, so I’m weird about buffets. Also, I don’t have the biggest appetite/watch my figure, so «all you can eat» is not my thing. However, the cashew chicken we ordered separately was entirely delicious. Whole cashews, instead of cashew bits, would have done it better. The staff was so very kind and friendly. New Century just needs to work on STRICTLY timing & carefully heating their buffet and they’ll have a good restaurant. Also, they have a great by-the-pound take-out service that I’m going to try. They had a ton of shrimp that was delicious, so I’d definitely be willing to do that, if I can take it home, not cook, and warm it up myself. Just a few tweaks would make this a great place. It’s hard to find friendly staff and that alone makes me pull for them. Also the tons of unfried cocktail shrimp and large regular unfried shrimp & won-ton cream-cheesy things & eggrolls in their $ 6.99 buffet. Also I don’t like to cook in the summer. Cause the sunshine turns my brain off. :D

No… No… No! Don’t be fooled by the many cars in the parking lot! I’ve been driving past this place for quite some time and dropped in because I thought it was worth my PRECIOUS time. Just because it is buffet doesn’t mean that it is suppose to be good. The buffet bar was quite unappealing without any real traditional chinese food on the bar. I was waiting to eat a piece of hair or something. It just wasn’t clean enough for me in there. Several big screen T. Vs playing Rodeo Competitions on them. Hello? I’m in a Chinese Buffet restaurant. As quick as I created a plate, I was nice enough to pay, walk out and ended up dining at another Japanese Restaurant. Curious Eaters Beware!
