Ughh ZERRRO STARSSS !!! What is their problem? They want their money before starting process but then don’t hear back in 3 weeks? And telling me to call numbers and go to court myself, Uhh hello? Am I not paying you to have my back ?! I am stressing because renters haven’t moved out in 3 months and my house is on the market but my renters are still in, in fact they have gotten served. Your supposed to have my back

My friend has a bankruptcy case with Mr. McLaughlin and was unsure where to send her additional payment. After calling numbers on her paperwork, getting told to call numbers that didn’t work, and given bad websites she called her lawyer to ask for help.
Mr. McLaughlin was immediately defensive to her telling her that she was wasting his time and being rude to him. She continued to try to get an answer to her question and he insisted she was being rude and he wouldn’t stand for it. I intervened on her behalf since she is not a native English speaker and tried to clarify with him.
He asked me if I was the original caller and I explained that I was not but I was trying to help because she was still confused and that I could translate. He told me he would not stand for my rudeness and then hung up on my friend.
Afterwards he sent my friend an email with the information she was asking for and a rude note telling her not to switch callers when she calls.
If you ask me, no professional should ever act in this way, let alone a public servant such as a bankruptcy lawyer. Find somewhere else to go if you would like to be treated with courtesy.
