Found a great barber for our son at Kels Barber Shop in Antioch. For a kid that cries when getting his hair cut, he did not. Josh is the best and will be his barber moving forward. He Talk to our son the entire time gave him a boost of confidence, he did not cry at all. Josh and Quien, Professional with class, even his dog Kyro. This our home from now on.

I have been there several times and always left pleased. took my son in this Wednesday without an appointment and no one was available to do his hair except a woman there which i think her name was Masika. she didnt have much barbering experience but she offered to do my sons hair and with Blendzino’s guidance she did an Excellent job! I was impressed at how another barber stopped from time to time to answer her questions. that shows me great work ethics and that they are empowering one another. to the woman (who i think is named Masika) 1. hope i got your name right 2. You were very sweet and professional 3. Amazing job

I called last week for prices. I spoke with a black gentleman who’s name I didn’t ask for, he told me a clipper cut for my son would be $ 10. I went in today and there were 3 men, only 2 of which were by cutting chairs, none of which were black. They proceeded to tell me the price list posted on the front counter which confirmed the $ 10 price was «outdated» and the main guy talking said «I don’t cut for under $ 20» and the other guy said he was going on lunch. Needless to say we left.

I’ve only received a cut from the shop’s owner Kel, which every time the cut is precise and consistent. The price is the same as any other barber shop, I like that all the barbers are young and professional and just Dumb ass koo. If you ‘re going to another shop you might want to reconsider and give them a try.

Took my son here for the 1st time yesterday and although the owner of the place didn’t even acknowledge us, Josh was able to fit us in. So really this review is more for Josh than the actual barbershop.
He kept me involved throughout the cut and kept conversation flowing with my son (which is not easy since he’s very shy).
The fade was everything I wanted and more than we expected for the price. Crisp lines and a clean cut! My son left there smiling and went to school today excited to show his new look off. Thank you Josh!!! A true professional and barber!

Kels Barbershop is a Gem in Downtown Antioch a group of professional Gentleman that take pride not just in there services but as well the shop atmosphere each Barber welcomes new clients with open hands ! My Barber Blendzino has been cutting my hair for years and still takes his time to make sure that im always satisfied. The rest of the guys including the owner Kels does amazing work it seems there shop is truly superior to all shops that I have been to if you ever in need of a trim or a line, a part etc. This is the shop to Go To

Phenomenal job done by Kel. He has a great shop with a ton of positive energy in the room. It was my first time there but I can tell that all of the barbers are cool people and they all love what they do. Make sure to go and check out this shop if your looking for a place that knows how to cut hair. They can cut hair for all ethnicities. If you decide to visit this place, make sure to tell Kel that I referred you. I promise that you will not be disappointed. This will be my regular spot from now on. Thanks Kel! You got skills bro!

The last few times I’ve taken my brother here we have been nothing but satisfied. The lining is great, the scissor work is just as good. The barber (Josh Allen) has made sure to take his time each visit and always makes sure my brother is completely satisfied with his cut before he’s done. The street parking is not an issue and the shop looks clean and well kept.

Been taking our son here for awhile now and plan to continue.
These guys consistently do a good job and strive to please even the most picky customers (like me, haha). For the most part, there’s no vulgarity or excessive profanities to deal with, the music selections are decently kid-​friendly, everyone is respectful & professional.
There’s not too much of the chatty, distractions going on, so you can get in & out in a timely manner.
Wait times can vary so it’s probably best to make an appointment, which trumps any walk-​ins.
Not the cleanest, fanciest barber shop on the planet, but they ALWAYS clean & disinfect their cutting tools & utensils, which is far more important to my son’s health.

Ladies, take your man to the right place to get that fresh cut! Go to Kels barbershop for the fresh cuts, tapers, clean up that beard, whatever cut you trying to get, just go! It’s a clean, friendly environment, they do a great job. I recommend it!

I took my son to Kel’s Barbershop for his first haircut and I was really impressed. He is an amazing barber, he was very patient with my squirmy one year old and made his first hair cut experience a great one. The shop is very clean and the barbers are proffesional and personable. If you need a great cut in the bay area for anyone 1 – 101 years old you gotta hit up Kel’s Barbershop!
