Awesome place! Dr. Fa is awesome too. Great place if you need an expert oral surgeon come here! I am so nervous about dentist but this is the best place in town! Nicely decorated! Warm reception! Easy highway 4 location. The only con is the back office. But the prices are very affordable. I have a PPO Plan it was still reasonable.

Dr. Gilbert was referred to me by my daughter’s orthodontist for extraction of her four impacted wisdom teeth. Dr. Gilbert and his staff were wonderful. My teen daughter of course was anxious and nervous about having to have this done, but once we met and spoke with Dr. Gilbert, who explained the surgery to her, answered some questions she had, and after having a tour of the surgery room and recovery room by the staff, she was reassured all would be fine. My daughter’s surgery went well and Dr. Gilbert personally called us that evening to check on her. I couldn’t have asked for a smoother process and I really appreciate Dr. Gilbert and his staff.

I had two wisdom teeth removed by Dr Gilbert. From my first visit for consult, to the day of surgery and my proceeding follow up visit a week after, I have been thoroughly impressed with this office, the staff and the surgeon. They were professional, well organized and very personable. I was given a tour of the office during my consultation and was well advised as to what to expect. I was prepared with information that the staff provided me with and they even prepared by insurance estimate up front so I knew exactly what my portion was going to be before surgery day. I too got a personal follow up call from Dr Gilbert the evening of my surgery to check to see how things were going. I would HIGHLY recommend this office, I just wish more medical professionals operated they way this Doctor and his staff did.

Whoa, the other reviewer must be high-​strung or something because I couldn’t disagree more. I went to Dr. Gilbert’s office off Lone Tree Way, which by no means is NOT the ghetto, but rather located near the Highway 4 off-​ramp in good’ol middle class Antioch.
With that said, I was referred to Dr. Gilbert’s office by my dentist, Dr. Ong, who happens to be in the shopping center across the street.
During my first visit, I received my consultation, which involved getting a really fancy folder that not only had Dr. Gilbert’s resume in it (apparently he either graduated in the 1940s or started working then, I don’t quite recall), important after care information, and a tour of the actual facility, including the operating and recovery room.
On surgery day, I was immediately taken to the operating room, given anesthetic, and then all I remember is waking up and being carried into a waiting vehicle… and I do remember Dr. Gilbert also putting a Sprite into my «goodie» bag.
Even better, after coming back to consciousness, Dr. Gilbert took it upon himself and called me on my cell phone, from his HOUSE PHONE at 8:00pm that day to make sure I was okay.
Mind you, this was in 2005/​2006, and I would guess he was 82 by this time. For him to make a phone call to check up on me was unexpected and very much appreciated.
I would recommend Dr. Gilbert, with his many years of experience, to anyone.

ZERO stars if that was all possible to do on here! I went with my husband to his «consultation» to get his wisdom teeth pulled and this office is located in the GHETTO (Thank Dr. Herman’s office for this referral). The office itself is dated and dirty looking.
The staff is BEYOND worthless. When my husband went to have his wisdom teeth pulled, they had him pay upfront with our debit card for his services. They took his blood pressure and it was slightly elevated, (Understandable as he had never had any sort of surgery/​anesthesia) EVER and instead of waiting for 10 – 15 minutes they took his blood pressure again 3 times in the next 7 minutes all the while raising it more because he was getting upset at their stupidity. They told him that they couldn’t do the procedure and tried to send him on his way. They weren’t even going to give him his refund, they merely said, «well you’ll get it done eventually.» To HELL with that, were talking about nearly $ 700.00! They «claim» to have credited our card back and it was been 3+ days and the money has not been deposited back to our account.
I called to demand that they cut us a check and they claimed that they do not do business on certain afternoons. PATHETIC!!! This review is based 100% on the staff on this office, and not on the Dr’s merit. Obviously he has to do decent work to still be in business all these years, and if he ever does go out of business I am sure that it will be because of his terribly inept staff.
