Doreen’s School of the Dance

I chose this dance school for the close proximity to my down town business and convenient class times. My daughter has enjoyed taking the ballet /​tap class. It’s been rewarding to see my child excel. She has blossomed into a little lady and I truly believe it was with the instructions at dance class.

I was an adult student at Doreen’s for 25 years and only stopped taking classes when I moved out of the area. I miss the ballet, jazz and tap classes at the best studio in Antioch.

Miss Mimi Costa-​White and her staff are the most caring, compassionate teachers I have ever met. I have a daughter and a niece that have studied at the studio. My daughter continues to take dance classes at college in Colorado as a result of the passion she developed under the direction of Miss Mimi. My daughter learned to enjoy dance and excel at her level, not to be competitive. My niece continues to learn dance from Miss Mimi and her wonderful teaching staff. Miss Mimi makes sure every dancer feels successful and I believe this helps build their self-​esteem and confidence in performing. I strongly recommend Doreen’s School of the Dance!!!

Mrs. Mimi Costa-​White and the rest of the staff at Doreen’s School of the Dance is amazing! This has been my home for over twenty years and i continue to dance three nights a week for Mimi. Our studio is perfect for all ages and personalities. We have a lot of fun while learning proper and modern technique. Doreen’s is all about teaching the child motor skills and edicate. Mrs. Mimi has a huge passion for dance and continues to teach all ages. Mrs. Mimi is an amazing tapper and continues to push her advance levels with new and challenging steps.
Ms. Kris is the advance Jazz and Hip Hop teacher and does an amazing job choreographing new and challenging pieces for the studio’s annual recital each year. Ms. Kris is very fun and up beat with her students and really enjoys teaching them new tricks and turns and entroducing them in the students dances. All students at Doreen’s School of the Dance love coming to Ms. Kris’s classes!
I would definitely recommend coming down and meeting the studio family!
