I’ve been out to run on the ¹⁄₁₀^th scale off-​road track four times now and Saturday night was my first race. Kraig does a great job running it and there’s a lot of good guys out there. His mom comes out to grill up some good food (my son loves her hamburgers).
Very fun and fast layout, but it does eat tires. If you’re interested in r/​c racing, I highly recommend coming out to see, or drive in, a race.

I’ve came here 3 times in the past few weeks for parts on a rock crawler I have. Every time I’ve come here there has been someone ahead of me chewing the employees/​owners head off about «what they wanna do to there toys» and getting recommendations and not end up buying shit. Reason I give the 3 stars is because for about 10 – 15 minutes I have to wait around to get any service. I’m never acknowledged until the person ahead of me gets great advice I assume and probably buys whatever was recommended to him off the internet. Prices are kinda high but I its the convenience factor that I don’t mind paying extra.

I have recently got back into the RC hobby world that i left behind 12 yrs ago and so much has changed. I needed alot of advise. The staff is great and even though they were busy when i walked in made sure to get to me asap. I am in the car biz and know how a up sale works and they didnt even attempt it. I am constantly asking questions and needing advise and they are on point. They have competitive prices and not worth the extra $ 3-​$ 5 to get it on
. I shop there all the time though for other stuff. I will gladly pay the same price or more to support our local biz. I cant wait to try out their tracks my co workers race there alot and love it.
Ps thanks for tha advise for my daughter’s first RC. The Traxxas 4×4 Rally ¹⁄₁₈ is awsome with the beginners setting. Now she is running it in full sport mode. Still cant touch my Jato ;) but i let her! Thanks

I’m going to admit my initial impression of Delta has not been very positive mainly because of non-​existent customer service. But that said, we’re blessed to have such a great shop and facility that caters to the hardcore RC racer.
If you’re one to complain about getting a Traxxas Slash for less from HT or Tower then obviously Delta isn’t for you. But if you need some Proline Scrub X2’s and a Finnisher then only Norcal is the next best thing. Now, here’s to hoping they take the drift thing seriously and allow the drivers to turn that dusty on road track into a work of art

It’s too bad that a few people have posted so negatively about this place as I would say that my experiences have been very good. The store is clean and well stocked. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. When you add in the fact that they also have a track, I would say that we are pretty fortunate to have such a good facility available to us.

Just picked up my new Axial scx10 jeep wrangler from Kraig at delta rc these guys custom built this for me. I had it lifted with 2.2 bogger style tires and Aluminum XD black wheels. Lots of aluminum upgrades done to it. They built me a one of a kind rig. If your looking to get into r/​c crawling stop by delta rc in Antioch ask for kraig or Hopper these guys will take good care of you. Highly recommended r/​c shop.

First comment is for the thug dropping the «f» bomb. Really? Your vocabulary is that small you feel you need to call people names and swear. That’s it on that. Anything else is a waste of breath because I’m sure I would get a violent threat or response.
As for Deltarc, I can agree with most others comments on customer service. It is NON existent. You walk in the door, no one greets you. The employee doesn’t come out to help you or even try to sell you anything. He is in his own race world. I am pretty sure he is their race announcer. I can say these things impartially because I have been there a number of times and it is the exact same every time.
In closing, their tracks are great and the people I have met seem nice. Yes, there was a cry baby but no matter where you go there is always one. The racing was clean as well. They would make more money with a better customer service attitude. It isn’t only racers who go to the hobby shop. Delta needs to realize people can and do order off the net these days. They could bring those customers in if they tried.

Cant believe all you fucking local cry babies! Cry about the price difference between Hobbytown and DRC. Go take your cry baby asses to Concord and back and your gonna break even dumbass’.
This seasons tracks setup (s) have been super dope. Racers track with lots of places to pass. Have never had a bad time with customer service but then again most of us racers know what were looking for. Prices are fair. I come all the way from Benicia and dont cry like some of you jackass locals posting on here. Meh… hats off to all the staff running the races. Gives us a place to have fun and let loose after a work week.

To start off, this place don’t even deserve 1 star! Deserve ¹⁄₃₆ of a star They SUCK! you don’t get greeted when you walk in, everything is a ripoff! Hobby town in Concord is a LOT cheaper! Your basically on ignore till you ask them a question, each other 8 times I’ve used the track for practice it’s been a $ 10 fee, Today they tried to make me sign up for some BULL*HIT and charge me $ 45 to use the track! Hell no! I’ll go somewhere else before I drop a penny to those loosers!

Good store and selection but there expensive. Seemed friendly offered if I need help a few times.

Great place for Traxxas parts. Huge selection and knowledgeable staff. Will be shopping here more than HobbyTown.

***STORE ONLY*** My husband and I stopped by Delta RC Hobby Shop to try and purchase nitro fuel and this wasn’t our first time stopping by this new shop. The staff are always rude and unhelpful, they barely speak a word to you as you walk through the door. The nitro fuel was on a shelf sitting in direct sun light, and when my husband told the guy behind the counter that the fuel was in the direct sunlight and the bottles were bulging, the store clerk just smirked out and «yeah thanks man» and looked away.
The prices are much higher then say hobby town as well $ 10 cheaper per gallon of nitro fuel.
I really wish this shop wasn’t connected to the race track because we have never had issues with the guy who worked out of the small shop that was at the race track before the big store was opened. If I had to rate the race track alone I would give it 4 stars. But the hobby store get 1 star all day long.

Kinda upset on how they run things here the employee not sure if he is the only one but was no help what so ever just sat down and I felt rushed like are you going to buy something or what does not make u feel welcomed at all

The place is kinda hard to find. make sure not to take a lowered or really dropped car when you drive to this place. i took my civic n there is a lot of gravel and dirt before you actually get to the hobby shop/​race track. plus the hobby shop is only for off road cars or trucks. no on road parts or vehicles are displayed or sold. i saw two tracks and they both were off road dirt tracks with jumps. And i found out they charge $ 5 on weekdays for you to use their track and $ 10 on weekends.
