Dabek Heating & Cooling

This guy rules! John went to my house on a holiday weekend at night. He actually waited for my tenants for a while and when they were late, he took it upon himself to look into the open cellar to find the water heater. he had the problem fixed before the tenant got back to my rental house to move in. He was very professional and honest and his rate was more than reasonable! I will use him for all future problems i might have.

Well, have used Dabek H&C again, and think it’s time to update. Last time, we had him come out to do some general system maintenance, and were very impressed. Since then, we’ve moved away, but still own the house — now renting it out.
The existing unit in the house was already struggling to keep up in recent years (being a fairly cheap model, and almost 20 years old). This year, the brutal summer pushed it past its limits. It was running 24×7, and still only able to keep about half the house cool. So, time to call Dabek back!
Even though everything was being arranged from 1000 miles away (something that many other companies would’ve been sorely tempted to take advantage of), it went as smoothly as one could hope. As with last time, John excels at communication with his customers. From the estimate, proposal, scheduling, permitting, installation, and inspection, John made sure everything was done correctly, that both I and the tenants were kept in the loop at every step, and that the system being put in was appropriate for the house. And the price was very reasonable!
In a field where so many companies tend to come across like the slimy guys at Jiffy Lube trying to sell you replacement ‘blinker fluid’, it’s very refreshing to see someone who runs his business the old fashioned way — honestly, openly, and with respect for his customers.
