Discount Tire Store – Anthem, AZ

Have gone to this discount tire for the past 10 years and they do a great job,.even price match deals that I can find anywhere else.
REALLY great customer service,. Always in and out quick, and great recommendations on the tires you need,. Not just the highest priced ones that they could sell you.
Jake (manager) there at the store has gone above and beyond for both me and my wife on both of our cars, so if you get to work with him just know you will have an amazing experience!

Over the past 7 years, this is the only place I take my vehicles for tires. I find their prices fair and they do their best to get us in and out. Their customer service is great and they go the extra mile to make sure my needs are met.

This place is great and friendly. My go-​to spot for tire service.

Came in due to a wobble my car had developed yesterday. Employee came out and looked at my tires and showed me that my left rear tire had metal showing through on the inner wall. He walked me inside and passed me off to whom I assume was the manager who proceeded to tell me that replacing my 26 inch tire would be impossible and I should JUST go ahead and get a whole new set of 22 inch rims and tires.
WHAT?!
When I declined I was then told that they could indeed get my 26 inch tire and that it would cost $ 650 (for ONE not installed) and it would be here in a week. After also declining this option they offered to put the spare on which I accepted.
An HOUR later (after not even touching my car) I was then informed that they actually would not be able to put my spare on due to safety reasons. At this point I was furious for having wasted almost 2 hours of my day, asked for my keys and left.
I just got off the phone with C & R tire in Anthem, my TWO 26 inch tires for $ 380 (installed) will be here tomorrow.
Wish I had gone to C & R first and saved myself from such a huge hassle!

This is my Go-​To place! I have a 5 year warranty through my dealership for tires and wheels and I STILL use discount tire! the guys are awesome, helpful, prompt, and most importantly honest! I’ll never stray!\

This is a great location with a great representatives. I went to get my tires filled and was told that my tires were in a dangerous level. They worked with me and my budget to allow us to get a great set of new tires. highly recommended and also great staff to work with. TheyWill work with you on price and negotiate a tire that will work good with your budget. This is a great place!

Long time customer with too many vehicles over the years to count… these are my go to guys for quick and exceptional service! I always rotate at 5k miles and take advantage of the free air check before any road trip. Great employees — strong work ethic… hard to find nowadays.

Discount Tire locations in general offer decent service and pricing. The Anthem location has a good team that is almost always friendly, willing to take the time to explain the differences between tires and usually offer some wiggle room on pricing. I have never heard anyone in the Anthem location complain about customers or the work they do and most of them seem to enjoy their jobs. I have brought all of my vehicles to this location and they have experience with less common vehicles when it comes to properly lifting, driving and working with the tires and wheels.
I have rated this location 4 stars instead of 5 because I have on more than one occasion have had to return for improper balancing and vibrations. My solution has been to ask for «Road Force» or static balancing that takes longer but subjects the tire to driving conditions while being balanced. They also can dismount and turn the tire on the wheel to find the optimal balancing point instead of adding excess weights on the wheels to counter the unbalanced manufacturing of a tire or wheel.

Always great service. Employees are friendly, professional and funny. They are quick and always answer your questions. They take their time with their customers.

I just bought a used car and there was a nail in the tire. I brought it here and they did a flat repair for free and got me right in. I will never go anywhere else. Great service

Great service great staff. My fiancé had an issue with a rim on a BMW that was cracked and the team at discount tire really went out of their way to get things fixed. I won’t go anywhere else for tires. Great work and thank you.

I rely on Discount Tire to manage all of the tire purchasing, installation and maintenance for my cars, truck and trailer. They are always courteous, and honest about service wait times. I even had a wheel stud broken on my Jeep and it was handled with no additional effort from myself. They always provide the best price /​performance options, and even made an effort to locate and order a set of European spec race tire I wanted to use on my track car.

The good — quick friendly service. Overall a good experience until the last 5 min.
The bad — make sure you have YOUR stem caps before leaving. Chrome when I pulled in — black plastic when I was about to pull out until I noticed. Then waited about 10 minutes for them to be located.
Also…while waiting looked online at the Discount Tire website to compare prices and found I was being charged an extra $ 100 for tire «warranty» I didnt ask for. Had to request that be deleted.
If you go eyes wide open and pay close attention to all the details while you are here — its a good pick.

Very good job. Ordered tires online on Monday night. Tuesday morning I have a voicemail from the store saying the tires will be in late that afternoon, and they will be ready to go for the 8:30am Friday appointment that I scheduled online. I get to the store on friday morning, and the total price in the store is slightly different (the TPMS rebuild kit was $ 2 less in store compared to what was quoted online). Said it would take 45 minutes, and that’s exactly how long it took. The employee I dealt with in-​store was very friendly and professional.
Only thing i’m going to do differently next time is just use their website to find the tires I want, then go straight into the store to order them, instead of doing it online. I like knowing the total price up front. Granted, it was only a $ 2 difference, and $ 2 less at that, but still. But I definitely will be back. Also, the website makes it look like you are paying for the service online when ordering the tires. You actually just order the tires and have them delivered to the store, the pay when they install them.
BTW… Google maps doesn’t give you a very good location with this business (just like most places in Anthem). They are located right on the southeast corner of Anthem Way and 43^rd Av /​Vision Way.
