We lived here for the first 3 years of our marriage and we loved it. We had the 2 bedroom apartment around 900sq feet. It was perfect for us. The living room was very large for an apartment & opened right into the kitchen area so having people over was never a problem. Everyone who visited was amazed how spacious the apartment was. I decorated with a lot of IKEA things because it just made sense for the space. We never had any problems with neighbors, in fact everyone around us was very nice. The management of the property changed a few times in our 3 years but we never had any issues with them. They where always very helpful & would walk us through any documents we didn’t understand. This is a low income property so there are certain criteria that you have to met every year. It can be tedious at times but that staff is very friendly & professional. One time I broke my key & couldn’t get into my house & in about 15mins the handyman was there to help me out even though it was around 7pm. The next day I have a new lock & new keys. Any other issues with the apartment were resolved in a day or two. They always communicated with us and responded quickly. After 3 years we even got our deposit back!(I am a clean freak so we kept our apartment nice & tidy) Overall I would recommend this place to anyone. There are a lot of families that live here & all the children play together. It’s very sweet to see. I always felt safe & welcomed. We really enjoyed our time here. Only negative as the gate key! Guests have to get out of the car & dial your apartment number, which then calls your phone & then you can let them in. No simple passcode to get people in. & they have to get out of their car. If they upgraded this part it would be perfect.

Since 4/2014, I have been dealing with this property. Orginally I was told that they couldn’t rent to me becasuse I had an eviction on file. I told them that informaiton was incorrect and they told me to contact ONSITE. I did and On Site told me that they never informed On site of that. They meaning on site finally sent me a copy of the screening and finally i noticed that I was lied to from hasting’s park. I went to Hastings Park today 1−19−15, and showed them the docuements to which they made every escuse in the book. Than they offered me another apartment. they told me to go get my last(3) months of Paystubs and come back with the depoist. I did that, when i returned to the complex I was told that they had made a mistake and that the unit was no longer on the Market and that its an enternal issue and that they were sorry. The Male manager and the staff there are a joke. They lie to ppl and attempted to cover there errors up. I dont recommened this property to anyone.

Update after one year living here : I would not recommend living here. Maybe I just had bad luck but all of my neighbors are awful. Neighbors below fights constantly and treat their child like a dog meanwhile their 2 dogs poop only on the balcony since the owners never walk them and the entire balcony is COVERED with poop. Neighbors on one side smoke and drink constantly and I can’t even leave my windows open majority of the time. Same goes for the neighbors underneath them(unemployed woman with a young child) who stands right outside the door smoking 500 times a day. Mind you my wife is pregnant and nobody seems to care about being polite and not smoking around her. If the neighbors are awful enough it’s the place itself that has given me a bad taste in my mouth after all this time. Our water heater stays in half the day because it barely manages to keep the water hot. Our garbage disposal gets clogged on a monthly basis. Someone has broken the lock on our mail box. There is no actual lighting in the living room. I can keep going and going but whoever is already reading this rather large review — save yourself the hassle. Don’t move in here. Bad neighborhood. Bad neighbors. Bad management. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — You get what you pay for. I have a 2 bedroom one bath for $ 770. It is plenty of room and the bathroom space is humongous. The counters were redone before we moved in and most of the apartment was repainted. The actual cabinets on the other hand are pretty gross. Old and saggy, looks like they spray painted them with some special paint to give them another year of life instead of replacing them all. At initial move in the property manager said the carpets were new — this was of course a big lie. The main problem I have is that the previous residents were Indian and the entire house smells like curry even after two months of living here and much time/money/effort and every cure for this nuisance I could find — it’s still present. The other issue is the neighbors. Who are loud and I’m pretty sure eat dogs. I’m serious Update 4 months into living here : Okay so truth be told it seems the longer you live here the more you start to regret your decision to sing a 15 month lease in a poop hope such as this. The windows are single pane — which means your AC into will have to be on 24 hours a day during the summer if you want to be comfortable at home. The dishwasher is about as useful as a red light in grand theft auto — our apartment does not have hot water ever, only warm water and I’m sure that’s majority of the reason why this dishwasher straight sucks. I wish in it’s place were more drawers to store stuff because our kitchen space is cluttered with appliances, etc… Also, frequently very nice dark skinned folks will come home around 4am(mostly mothers who have left their half dozen children at home for the night) and sit in their car outside my bedroom window listening to loud @$$ music and acting like baboons. Another update. I bought my wife a new car, and within weeks«someone» happened to jack our license plate bracket and license plates Friday night. Probably some monkey who thought it was cool how it said«Enzo auto sales». Great neighborhood guys !! Would recommend to raise your children here
