Really good brisket I enjoyed the collard greens. Wasn’t crazy about the potato salad. Service was good, a lot to choose from on the menu.

Dry pork, barque sauce tasted like ketchup. Only thing that was ok was the slaw. Perhaps it was just a bad day for them. The waitress was courteous.

Service is great. Friendly staff. However the food was okay. And not good okay more like «meh» okay. Recommendations for sides were Mac and cheese with the collard greens. They were basic. Not thing was special. The pork was dry. No flavor. The tomato sauce they put on top tasted funky. The food could of had more effort put into it.

Good bbq brisket sandwiches, reasonable price. Wasn’t busy during lunch. Good service

Food was solid. Pork was tender. Potato salad was excellent, collards were salty but still good. The sweet tea was also excellent. Next time I would ask for the sauce on the side. Sauce was good but like to check out the pork with nothing on it.

I am partial to the smoked turkey salad! Deeeelish! And of course the BBQ pork sandwich is great too! They have 2 convenient locations.

Is not fine dining and the place has the «total dive» vibe, which is not my favorite when it comes to hygiene… That said, their ribs are awesome!!!
If you want good BBQ southern style:
–ribs
–smoked wings
–smoked ham sandwich
–pulled pork
A side of cole slaw corn bread and or fried green tomatoes.

If you’re in Anniston wanting to go to a BBQ restaurant, I would definitely recommend coming here before going to Betty’s. The food’s not bad here at Dad’s, but it’s pretty bad at Betty’s.
The first time I came here, I ordered the Chicken & Dressing Plate. This comes with two sides, cranberry sauce, and your choice of Cornbread or Texas toast. I chose Texas toast and got the Macaroni & Cheese and Fried Okra as my sides.
My second time here, I ordered the Chopped BBQ Chicken plate with cornbread and Macaroni & Cheese and Collard Greens as my sides.
I really liked the collard greens, they had a great flavor. The macaroni & cheese reminds me of cafeteria food, though. The fried okra and cornbread were both good. Both the Chicken & Dressing and Chopped BBQ Chicken were not bad, but not great either.
I have never eaten inside either of the Dad’s BBQ locations, I’ve only ordered from the drive-​thru. They get your food to you pretty fast. They have a big menu and lots of sides to choose from. I’m sure I’ll come back periodically to try the other menu items.

This place is delicious! I’ve been here twice and I was shocked! I’ve seen this place for the past 6 years and never stopped until 2 months ago and now it’s all I want to eat when I’m in Anniston! The chicken and dressing plate is delicious! It tastes delicious each time I try it. The okra is also delicious! I recommend this place and I’ll be back again upon my military missions!

Stopped by for Sunday lunch. This was my first time here as I hears nothing but good things about this place. I ordered the half rack of ribs with cornbread and two sides of Okra. Ribs came out very nice and plenty of meat on each rib. Cornbread was a little dry but tasty. Fries Okra was a little over cooked. All in all it was good BBQ. As for the bathroom… Well… It definitely needs help!!! I would have given the place 4 stars however the bathroom made me think twice.
