BE-AWARE!!! Just went to big b again for 1 item at the last minute. And as always I was disappointed. But this time I left the store feeling like I have just been lied to by Roger,(the owner). I had called before I went to see if they had put out fresh cilantro today. He told me yes, so, I had a feeling that he told me a lie, but giving him the benefit of the doubt I went to get the cilantro. Sure enough there wasn’t any fresh cilantro(or any other fresh produce for that matter), that was in his produce dept. I went to him and repeated what he told me on the phone. His wife, the cashier and 1 customer heard me telling him that the cilantro he had was wilted snd slimy and he had told me on the phone he had put out fresh produce today. She went to get me some fresh, and when he rang it up, the price was .79, You Saved:$ 0.50. He immediately informed me that that price was wrong. And changed the price to 1.29. I ask him why the register wrang up, the wrong price for cilantro, he said because their are 2DIFFERENTTYPESOFCILANTRO. I said really! Really!.he said yes. I told him that the cilantro he just rang up is the same as what is in the produce dept, only this bunch is not wilted and slimy. I didn’t want to argue with him any further. His whole objective was for me to pay the price he wanted me to pay because I had told him that his produce was wilted and slimy. Which it was. I told the truth. You get punished for telling the truth to this foreign store owner! Their is not and will never be 2 different kinds of cilantro. I guess he thought I was a very STUPIDCUSTOMER. These people are very cheap, cheating the people that come in their store out of $.50. I am also going to put this on Facebook, for people to see along with my receipt!

This little grocery store has a butcher on site to cut meat. they have some specialty items it’s a wonderful clean nice friendly grocery store in the middle of nowhere. You can certainly do all of your grocery shopping here and avoid driving into town when need be. Produce is not the best is not always fresh and sometimes the meat is too fatty but most everything else they have good prices and you pay less tax then the grocery stores and the surrounding area. You can’t buy in bulk that’s okay with me.

Foreign owned, and they seem to have a third world attitude. Shop if you dare. I’ll grab an item here because it’s close to home, but I drive an extra 6 miles to do the bulk of my shopping at Winn-Dixie.
