History

Established in 1982.

The Mattress Store was opened in 1982 by the Haig family and is still operated by the Haig women. We have two locations our original Annapolis location and another in Red Apple Plaza on Kent Island. It has given us great satisfaction developing relationships with our customers, and vendors over the last 30 years in these communities. We look forward to serving you and your families for many years to come.

Our company has been thrilled to employ Margaret for the past ten years.

Her first concern is always our customers. Thirty years experience in the mattress and home furnishing industry has given her the expertise that shoppers rely on to help in selecting the correct product. Margaret is a terrific problem solver and can help with any special needs you may have. Her particular favorite product is our extensive line of healthful eco– friendly latex products.

Margaret is a Maryland native her family is from the eastern shore, as a genealogy buff she is always searching for new cousins to befriend. Travel is another love of hers and she is always looking forward to a trip. Margaret is also a fine cook and you may find her feeding us a lunch of her special chicken salad and chocolate cake, it has inspired a great loyalty with our delivery men. Stop in and see her there may be some cake around.
