Business Owner

After a twenty-five year career in four and five star hotels (Marriott, Lowes, Sonesta, Radisson), including national and international responsibilities, on-sight and formal food school training, Cory, along with his wife, Carol, established the INN at HoRN PoINT from a three unit apartment building. After purchasing the building in 2000, construction and renovation lead to the INN opening nearly two years later in March 2002.

The couple hosts guests from around the world and they pride themselves on personalized service, clean quiet surroundings and taste tempting, creative breakfast offerings daily.

This place is a gem. My wife and I truly felt at home during our stay. The Inn is beautiful, well-appointed and full of charm. Cory and his family are doing everything right to make this one of the best places to stay in while visiting Annapolis. There was great communication with the Inn before and during our stay. The breakfast was divine, only to be exceeded in quality by the wonderful conversations we were able to have with our fellow guests. I highly recommend the Sequoia room if it is available. We walked to downtown in 15 minutes and even took the water taxi a few times. In short, we’ll definitely be going back. Take advantage of this gorgeous place and you’ll have a weekend full of memories.

The owner is definitely not cigar friendly; I absolutely understand no inside smoking (I never smoke in my own home), but it is not permitted anywhere on the property. A sign says you can go «to the sidewalk», no place to even sit down.
The breakfast sign says «continental» from 7:30 — 8:30 and hot breakfast served after 8:30. We were at the table at 7:30 and had an appetizing continental breakfast with coffee and at 7:35 the fellow next to me was served scrambled eggs and sausage with toast?
The owner also needs to look up the definition of «complimentary» in Webster. Further would not reverse a credit card charge when I offered to pay in crisp 20’s due to a $ 19.00 «credit card convenience charge»; I realize AmEx takes a percentage but not $ 19.00.
Will not stay there again nor recommend to any of my friends who enjoy a nice cigar and cocktail on a sultry spring evening.

Best off the beaten path b-n-b ive stayed in yet. The proprietor Corey was friendly and charming, the establishment cozy and inviting, the stairs with the one squeaky board were quaint and they even had aveda products for the bath. A world away from the old bitchy post-menopausal yuppie spots downtown. this was the only place in the ‘uppercrusty’ annapolis area where my husband and i did not get the side-eye from anyone. great little spot, hospitality and ambiance worth every penny.

Corey and Carol are great hosts! This was my first B&B experience but it exceeded my expectation. Rooms were comfortable and when we walked in at 6 on a Saturday night Carol quickly helped us think of places to go around town. She offered to make us reservations at a local restaurant. And Corey delivered on the promised gourmet breakfast, which included delicious home-roasted coffee.
