I’m new to Annapolis and wanted to check out Annapolis power yoga since, it had good reviews. Upon entering the studio, I found it clean and professional looking. However, I was extremely disappointed in the male instructor my class received, everything was too fast paced and his body language was full of negative vibes. I thought maybe I was the only person feeling this way but, I overheard other members commenting about it as well… Hopefully I can find a better yoga studio cause I will not be coming back to this location

I purchased a Groupon here, after checking out the website, which made it seem like a good option, including a number of evening classes. However, when I arrived, I learned that the room is always HOT — not a fact that is mentioned anywhere in the marketing materials. While I recognize that many people love practicing yoga in heated rooms, I do not, so this turned out to be a total waste — I walked out after 2 minutes in a sauna. This is a material fact and should be noted at some point in the class or studio description.

This is the greatest little yoga studio around. The teachers are all super knowledgeable and sweet everyone there is willing to take their time to help better my practice. Even the students that come to the studio are all very supportive of one another. It seems to me that if I go to a yoga class I would expect to feel love and support. Anybody that would find yoga to be competitive is just simply out for the wrong reasons. I would imagine the insulting comment left below was by another teacher. That’s definitely bad karma I’m so sorry that happened to such an amazing studio but no sense in feeding into the drama come in and see for yourself The studio is very clean and welcoming I don’t think you will be disappointed

Beautiful welcoming studio located in the shops below The Point. They have a variety of classes to choose from like Vinyasa, asana 60 and Buti. I’ve tried them all and each class offers a different challenge mentally and physically. The studio is slightly heated with large windows facing the street. All the teachers are friendly and helpful. As a mom with small children I find the best part of this studio is childcare. They have a small playroom set up and Nancy is there Mon through Fri during morning classes. My daughter really enjoys coming with me to hang out with Nancy and the other kids. Highly recommend you check it out for yourself!

This brand new studio in Annapolis is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The space is nice and comfortable — there is a couch in the lobby, a place to put your shoes, and in the adjoining hallway there are benches and hooks on the wall to hang your coat, etc. The yoga room is big and open, with a wood(or wood look-a-like) floor and drinking fountains, which I find highly convenient. I have taken Power Vinyasa and Buti so far, and have loved them both. I can tell they work, because my abs were sore the next day :) The instructors and all the staff I have met have been incredibly welcoming and nice. If it sounds like I can’t say enough good things about this place, it’s because I can’t. The prices are reasonable AND there’s child care, so you don’t have to worry about finding someone to watch your kid while you take class. The only downside I would mention is that there are no showers yet, but the staff informed me they would be getting showers installed soon. Short version: I love this place. It is awesome.

This place is owned by the yoga couple who owns Bikram Yoga Annapolis as well as a couple other Bikram studios. I am not a huge fan of Bikram Yoga, but their Bikram studio is the best Bikram studio I have ever been to. I am new to Annapolis and have tried a lot of studios and had been looking forward to their opening a new studio. I did not enjoy the three classes I have taken at Annapolis Power Yoga. It seems to me that they are trying to combine Bikram and Vinyasa. Each of the three classes I took(Vinyasa Power Hour) were seemingly identical in pacing, poses and sequence even though the teachers were different. The pacing didn’t work for me.
